I’ve decided to come back to stay in Nikko solely because of a single dish in the Japanese breakfast buffet. It is the tamagoyaki. And it is THAT GOOD. But to my disappointment this round, not only there is no longer a buffet, the portion presented to me was only one tiny slice. And what’s worse, it was cold and not freshly made. The staff in the restaurant were not attentive either. The whole breakfast experience was simply disappointing. And as for the room, the cleanliness is still Japan standard, but The room amenities was cut to the utmost basic. I think it’s not a great time to stay here during covid times. Apology doesn’t bring back money nor the time I’ve lost.
