“Barcelona one night stay”
The hotel was very nice for the reasonable price we paid - I have paid more in the U.S. and received less. Although a little farther out from many of the main attractions in Barcelona and from public transportation, I would recommend the hotel. It was an easy walk to shopping and the attractions we wanted to see, like the Gaudi House. The room was clean and ready when we arrived. Most importantly, the morning wake up call came as requested and the cab we requested for our ride to the airport was downstairs waiting for us as we checked out, just be sure to request a cab call the night before though.
“Great Hotel!”
Great, contemporary hotel for the price and location. Friendly staff. Not dead center in the city but close enough to walk to all the main attractions (granted, it takes about 30 min to walk to Sagarda Familia, but it's a great way to discover the city). We never used the metro once. We had to burn off that good food somehow... Our room was small but comfortable. Beautiful bathroom. Safe neighborhood.
“Great Hotel, not in the hussle and bussle”
If you dont mind staying a little bit away from most of the busy sections of the city, this is a great place. The room was great, very modern, clean and servicable. The staff was more than willing to help in any way they could and they spoke good English. There are a few very cute shops and cafe's close by so you dont have to go far if you don't want to. If you are expecting to be close to Las Rambla then this is not the place for you. But you can walk along the Diagonal Road and get to just about everywhere if you dont mind a walk. Walking around the city is what i recommend, because the city is very easy to navigate and its very scenic. You never know when you are going to round the corner and run into a gaudi building. Thing shut down between 5pm-8pm so if you want to eat around that time you will be hard pressed to find a place. Also on Sunday just about every shop in the area closes, so keep that in mind also.
“Exceptional value”
We found reception staff pleasant and helpful. Housekeeping was excellent. Room with a balcony, well equipped and pleasant to return to after sightseeing. Will definitely book again if we go to Barcelona.
“Excellent hotel in great location”
Very nice hotel. I travelled with my family that includes little kids and the hotel was very accomodating. It is in an excellent location. The room was contemporary looking and very clean. Nice modern bathroom. We had two bookings because we were going to visit other cities. They agreed to keep some of our luggage for about 10 days. Very nice of them. Calling the taxi through them and they eagerly provided tourist information and even a map of Barcelona. Nice place. Very good value for the feasible price. I would stay there again.
“Perfect Location”
Very convinient location in the quiet part of the touristic center, within walking distance from Passeig de Gracia. Hotel was clean, hotel staff was very helpful.
“Barcelona's best hotel”
Everything was wonderful. The staff was friendly, the hotel was recently renovated in a very artistically way, and the hotel restaurant was of highest quality. Location is ideal for tourism/shopping. I would definitely recommend to everyone who visits Barcelona.
“"Little Jewel"”
Hotel Zenit Barcelona is a little Jewel in the middle of Barcelona. The hotel was very clean and modern. The location was convient to everything. It seems to be a favorite of business people. I would stay there again.
“Honest bargain”
Clean, convenient and cozy
“Pleased with hotel”
Good location out of main tourist areas but close to metro (10 min stroll past designer shops!)or pleasant walk down to Ramblas area. Some nice bars and places to eat close by - used mainly by locals so prices good. Rooms modern & comfy with a huge balcony. Will definitely look out for this chain in other parts of Spain.
