Reception desk staff are very friendly and helpful. If you have multiple devices that need a type-C port for charging, make sure to bring your own charging cord and adaptors. In terms of location, it is suited outside of the inner city, typically takes around 30-40mins by cab.

We feel a great familiarity with this Hotel and it's environ, as it is a part of the One Indigo Shopping Mall together with a Fortune 500 good office Tower. Because it feels very much like our own Orchard Rd ION. (Incidentally, by the same design architect). Coming as we are from Singapore. I would most certainly return to stay at East Beijing for all of the above reasons but mainly because it's a business stay hotel, so less of the noisy heckling tourist types around. The Foyer is sparse and calm and all the checking in or moving out is almost imperceptible. The rooms layout is fabulous, in finishes and interior design, for cleanliness, very bright and airy in spatial sparseness yet evincing a high comfort level. Its location on the outer fringe of the Inner City is a blessing and not a lack, to come away from all that crowdedness. And being linked directly to the Jiangtai Metro connects it to the other 18 lines serving Beijing City. Not to mention too that its so much nearer to the Airport. Can't ask for more. The other reason being that it's 3 bus stops away or within walking distance to the 798 Art District which is our 1st reason for visiting- to view shows and cafe hop. Unfortunately, the art scene is not really up to expectation. So yeah, we are so glad we found this gem of a place to centre ourselves in BJ for 10 days.

Quiet and comfortable
First stay at East hotel, but it won't be the last. Very courteous staff, from check-in, to the lounge, to the restaurant. The bed is one of the most comfortable I've slept in and the rainforest shower was huge! The lounge has a good selection of drinks, but I wasn't impressed with the food offerings (although they did have a hot dish for Western palates). Breakfast at Feast is at the same standard as their brunch: amazing buffet and choices. I didn't try the other facilities. Nice touches: the Bose speaker in the room and the free minibar. A first for me in a hotel in Beijing: did not hear a single noise during my stay.

I’ve stayed at this hotel a number of times now. This hotel is great value for the money and has lots of terrific conveniences. The Feast restaurant has a wonderful brunch that is reasonably priced and has many food options. Xian restaurant also has great food and offers nightly entertainment. The hotel is attached to a mall with a grocery store, drugstore, hair salons and lots if clothing stores and restaurants. The rooms are spacious, clean and nicely decorated. My only complaint is that the bathrooms do not have bathtubs, just showers. The staff are always very helpful from doormen to front desk clerks to room service staff.

Excellent stay. We had a bit of confusion when booking our room I had requested wrong dates but the staff was very gracious in helping us guide us and correcting the issue. On arrival Lucy was extremely helpful , professional, and kind. To better accommodate our family we were upgraded. The property was amazing it connects to Indigo mall and subway station. Breakfast was unbelievable with a huge array of foods, both Western and Chinese, with fresh greens, cheeses, meats, pastries, breads, numerous egg dishes, yoghurts and fresh juices! Amber at the front desk was also very kind and helpful. We would recommend highly.

Stylish Business Hotel by SWIRE.
Furnishings are slightly worn out when compared to few years ago however it is still a comfortable, clean & stylish business hotel. Traffic around the hotel could be congested around morning & evening peak hours.

This is a stylish hotel with large, comfortable rooms. It is somewhat aside from the inner city. The service and facilities are good; the 2nd floor desks/working alcoves were quite innovative. The cleaning / quality of the furnishings leave something to be desired, but are in my experience at or above the usual for China level.

Some staff were good some weren't so helpful although on arrival the manager was courteous enough to buy us a drink at the cafe while we wait for our rooms as the lounge was occupied. Overall the good thing is that it's a modern clean hotel connected to a mall and metro station but it's neither near the city nor that near the airport or exhibition centre.
