“Good for business”
Very nice new and modern hotel - rooms are very spacious, bathroom is great. Would not reccomend paying for breakfast as it was not that great (despite the choice) and the cost. Not a central area - its near the Embassy area.
“Keep this one secret”
Very comfortable. Heart of Beijing's Central Business District. Nicely designed rooms. And prices can be good b/c occupancy low. So don't tell too many people so you can keep getting a good deal.
“Luxurious and comfortable, but difficult to get to by taxi”
We've stayed at this hotel twice now, and both times we stayed in the executive suites. I highly recommend upgrading for the couple hundred extra dollars. The breakfast is amazing, there is also tea time from 2-4:30 (with snacks!) and cocktail hour from 5-7:30 (with appetizers!) in the executive lounge. If you've lived in Asia for awhile and haven't had any cheese, this is the place to go, haha. The staff in the lounge is amazing, always polite and looking to help you in any way. We especially enjoyed Mike. The room cleaners are also quick and efficient, and our room was cleaned more than once in a day. Turn down service is nice, and you get free water, juice, and beer in the fridge. However, it is really annoying to get to the hotel, as few cab drivers know the subway station. A chinese friend told us it might be easier to mention the hotel name, but only do this after you are in the cab and it is running, or they will hike the price. The subway is super easy though! We still haven't had a chance to explore the rest of the hotel, but the gym and the pool look amazing. We'll definitely go back for a third time.
“Excellent choice if you want modern spacious space”
The hotel is connected to a large shopping mall, but there are few places to get quick food close to the hotel. The main attraction for me was the attentiveness of the staff and the outstanding features of the hotel like restaurants, exercise facilites, fantastic rooms, and other conveniences. They attended to any request immediately and were helpful in giving directions/securing a taxi. A train station is located nearby for easy access to transportation in the city.
“Very hospitable and helpful staff”
Being our first trip to Beijing, this hotel is a real home-away-from-home
“Impressed”
Beautiful Hotel with really friendly staff.
“Pleasant Surprise”
Didn't expect much -- only disappointment was that the pool/gym were undergoing renovation. Rooms are technologically advanced, super comfortable and amenity abundant!
“Great executive floors”
was very satisfied with quiet breakfast on last floor
“Excellent Hotel”
The hotel is modern looking. The rooms are large and comfortable. Free internet is a plus. The buffet breakfast is too expensive. Go around the corner to the Fortune Mall and you should be able to find a reasonable place to eat. I didn't eat breakfast there, but did have dinner at a Mongolian Hot Pot restaurant and it was excellent. Good value for the price charged by Expedia. The hotel personnel were helpful, but not all could speak English.
“Great hotel but spoilt by service”
Great hotel and spa was amazing but had awful experience when we asked for a table to be booked at a local hotel we were booked in and confirmed only to not be allowed into the restaurant because it was only for IOC members only - left a very sour taste in our mouth and spoilt our stay
