Great Service - from check-in through check-out. The breakfast has a wide range of selections. I especially like their special Zhou (rice-soup), which change daily, and the made-to-order Omelet station.
The "motto" of the hotel is to make their hotel "Home away from Home" for the guests. If you go to the Executive Lounge you will find they really mean it by offering courteous service and homey ambient. (Actually, I don't get service like this at home.)
There is a Mall (Hua-Mao) right outside the hotel. I did not do shopping there but use the restaurants in the basement. The Mall also connected to a near-by Metro Station (Da-Wang-Lu/DA-Wang Road) with Line 1 take you to Forbidden City (Tiananmen SQ) and Line 14 takes you to Beijing South Railroad Station connecting you to other cities through high-speed rail.
Next time, if you plan to stay in East side of Beijing, JW Marriott Beijing is a great choice. (Notice that there are multiple JW Marriott in the area.)
