This is the second time I stayed with my daughter at Legoland Hotel. This time, we chose the friends room. Last year, we had the pirate room. My daughter who is eight loves it. The first time we were there, the staffs were a lot more friendly, helpful and attentive. This time around, they seemed stress or a little overworked. They did not smile much and there was only one person at the counter at noon. We arrived early and was hoping to jumpstart our vacation at Legoland. However, it was pouring outside. We came too early to check-in and had to wait until 3pm to get our room, which was the policy. It was not a good experience to say the least.
Overall, my daughter loves the hotel. It was convenient to buy lego merchandises there instead of waiting in line at the Lego Shop. For me, it could be better. There were too many parents and kids cutting in line in the shops, rides and buffets. It needs to be a little bit less chaotic.
I give this experience a 7 or 7.5 out 10. We still plan to visit next year but might not be staying at Lego Hotel. The unruliness is the main factor.
