"Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst. Receptie is beperkt open. Het hotel is mooi en rustig gelegen, maar wel hoog. Met de fiets vanaf het treinstation van Kyllburg, is het 1 km klimmen. Wij moesten te voet gaan met de fiets met bagage aan de hand. De kamer was ruim met 2 éénpersoonsbedden, waarvan 1 een goede, stevige matras had, maar de tweede een veel te zachte matras had. Fles Gerolstein stond klaar op tafel. Waterkoker en tassen werden op verzoek gegeven. Spijtig dat er geen koelkast in de kamer...

"Wir wurden ohne Absprache an das Nachbargästehaus weiter gereicht. Die Besitzer des Gästehauses waren allerdings sehr freundlich, das Zimmer ganz neu, großzügig und blitzesauber. Auch das Frühstück war sehr gut. Also nichts zu meckern!"

Weniger schön war, trotz Ankunft am späten Nachmittag, Zimmer sehr kühl da Heizkörper nicht aufgedreht waren. Duschen bei der Temperatur nicht möglich. Und abends um 21 (!) Uhr kein restaurant- oder Barbetrieb mehr, und das auf Samstag am Wochenende. Der Schatten wäre mit ein Quentchen mehr Service leicht zu beheben, das Haus selbst hat Toplage und...
