“great find!”
This hotel is a wonderful place to stay in Boston. It is right on a subway station, close to theaters and Boston Common, and had a very nice restaurant and a Starbucks on the premises. The subway station is a 5 minute link to the Amtrak station, and a direct link to most historic areas also. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!
“Comfy beds!”
This is our second DoubleTree accomodation this summer. Each was as comfortable and clean and the other. All services were the same high quality right down to the warm cookies upon arrival. Will surely stay at a DoubleTree Hotel agin next time we travel!
“Wonderful Stay”
We stayed at the Doubletree Downtown in late August. Boston is a beautiful city. The Doubletree is fabulous and has a wonderful restaurant also. The staff is courteous, helpful. The beds are great, a nice quiet hotel even near the children's playground. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the Doubletree from the fabulous cookies they give you on check-in to your departure, they were simply wonderful, attentive to your ever need.
“Highly recommended!”
My wife, daughter and myself stayed here for 3 days. Very comfortable beds, clean room....would definitely stay here again.
“The best choc chip cookies in town!”
Location was reasonably central and taxis readily available outside the door and cheap. Very warm welcome with a freshly baked cookie. I always open hotel room doors in anticipation and was very pleased with what I found on the other side. Clean, with everyhthing there that a discerning traveller needs, even a coffee maker which I used every day. I can't fault anything and would highly recommend it.

nice hotel nice location
“Very comfy.”
Never a shortage on yummy cookies.
“Very nice Downtown hotel”
I had a very pleasant experience here. The room was very comfortable and the location was just about perfect. Boston Common was about a 7 minute walk away and a "T" station was literally steps away from the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice, clean place at a good rate with a great location. They do make you pay for internet access though ($12.95 per day) which I didn't mind personally.
“Nice place, convenient location”
So, the girl working the front desk asked us what brought us to Boston, and we told her it was our honeymoon. She shook both of our hands and told us congratulations. About an hour or so later, we received a phone call from the front desk saying they had a package for us. When we got the knock on the door, it was a complimentary tray of cheeses, crackers and a bottle of red wine. The only "draw back" is the hotel bar/restaraunt is a bit pricey, but there are plenty of other eateries in the direct area of the hotel and it's only a 15-20 minute walk to the Quincy Market and Harborwalk areas which have fantastic seafood places as well as the aquarium and IMAX theater. Overall, the comfort and location of the hotel helped make our trip that much more enjoyable.
“Great Hotel”
Can't understand why it is rated as a three star when really it's a very good four star hotel. Friendly staff, very comfortable room, great location and free hot cookies!
