Overall it’s a very nice place to stay for visiting Boston and its surrounding areas. The staff were helpful and friendly. The only problem we had was the electrical outlets. We brought an electric kettle to boil water, as we would do when we stayed in a hotel. The electrical outlets in the room couldn’t handle it. Using it caused the electric breaker tripping. We had to call the front desk multiple times to reset the breaker.

Great stay with fantastic location. The staff were incredibly helpful. The Only thing is our room only had one face cloth and no robes. Also the room smelled like feet, stinky feet.

The Hyatt Recency in Cambridge is beautiful. The Charles River is right across the street and there is a nice walking path along the river. What I didn't like was you need to download an app to your phone to operate the TV as the TV remote does not work.

Easy to reach as it is right off of the highway. Accommodations were cozy (although bring your own pillow). My favorite part was the accessible features—which worked well with traveling with an infant. Wide hallways and bathroom. Tub was easy to wash the baby, keycard can be programmed to open the automatic door so it’s easy for you to bring the stroller in. Lastly, a large area to house the pack and play. My only complaint was the restaurant staff in the morning. They were rude, lacked accommodations and were overall unprepared for the day. It was a clear departure from the evening crew who were all excellent.

Staff excellent from front desk to bartenders to food servers to maid service. Comfortable clean bathroom and room. Luxuries towels. The most comfortable bed and pillows ever. Restaurant breakfast lunch and dinner excellent food.

I wish I had known about the shuttle service, I received a charge of $88 after checkout but was expecting $20 so I will need to call to find out what these charges are from

Great property. Frank at the front desk was very helpful and kind. Walking distance to MIT and short Uber to Fenway. The only issue I had with my room was the center nightstand had a strong ash tray smell. At times it was pretty strong but not enough for me to complain or request a room change. Not a big deal. Overall great property.

My partner and I stayed here for 5 nights as I ran the Boston marathon on Monday. The hotel itself is wonderful with picturesque views of the Charles River. The reception staff are really helpful (shout-out to the lovely lady who recommended places to go to in Salem, as her sister lives there) it was definitely worth visiting, we had a blast! There were a lot of other marathon runners staying too and this gave the hotel a community feel. There is a trader Joe's about 20 minutes away from the hotel, which was ideal. The pasta night was a great idea (only critique is the size of the pasta was on the smaller side, I definitely felt like I could have done with some more the day before a marathon 😄) We did spend a fair amount of money on Ubers just to get to the other side of the Charles River and back. Overall really happy with our stay and would recommend to anyone running future Boston marathons.

Hotel was fine, beds were a little too hard and didnt care for the pillows Charged a $20 "destination fee" without any explanation of what it was. Had we known about the fee or that there were "benefits" included with this fee. We might have used them, wasnt told anything regarding this at checkin.
