“Great Town, Great Hotel”
Friendly staff, very nice rooms and no ghosts. Right off of Pearl St. and great location.
“History and grandeur with all modern facilities”
I had booked a discounted 'King Bed' room on Expedia but I was upgraded (without even telling me that was what they had done) to a 'presidential suite' which was truly amazing. i was travelling on business, so this suite provided a wonderful work space. the hotel itself is spectacular. History and grandeur with all modern facilities and lots of lovely extra touches.
“Experience Boulder Downtown and Its Foothills”
The hotel staff is very pleasing and services efficient. With an old charm and ambience the condition of the room is update and immaculate. The Hotel’s location on 13th street is one block from the center of downtown which is a concentration of shopping and restaurants. With convenient valet service at a cost compatible with surrounding parking garages, it is easy to leave the car and walk around historic downtown or Colorado University. My wife and I enjoyed the hikes of Mount Sanitas, Boulder Creek, and Chautauqua Park under Flat Irons from the Hotel’s location. On one occasion we enjoyed the use of the original 1900’s Otis elevator operated by the concierge. The Hotel offers the historic building connected to a newer building. All have acces to a fine dining exerpeince at Qs or the corner bar. Highly recommended as a convenent way to experience downtown Boulder.
“Perfect location”
The staff was very helpful, rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is perfect for a visit to Boulder.
“Enjoyable”
Boulderado is an old fashioned but beautifully maintained venue. Loved having the restaurants in the hotel esp. since we were there during a 36 hour winter storm. Being able to walk to everywhere is also a huge benefit. Don't know if others are aware that in Boulder in the winter many of the restaurants (including the bar and restaurant at the Boulderado) have Happy Hour for both drinks and hors d'ouevres.
“Jewel in boulder”
Great location, great service and attention to guest a jewel
“Excellent stay at Hotel Boulderado”
We had a queen sized bed reserved but staff put us in a king sized, which was wonderful. Staff was outstanding, rooms were immaculate and quiet. Would like to have been closer to lobby because my husband has heart problems and was bothered by long walks and apparent lack of oxygen due to high altitude. After thinking about it, I felt sure we would have been moved to ground level if we had asked. We would stay at the Boulderado again if we are in the city.
“Wonderful location in Boulder”
Hotel Boulderado is a block from Pearl Street and walking distance to the University of Colorado. The location could not be better. It is a beautiful historic hotel with a new wing that has been built to seem historic. The bed was extremely comfortable-- luxurious sheets and lots of pillows. I shared a double room with a friend and it was helpful to have an extra sink outside the bathroom, a very roomy closet, and two luggage racks, There are a few quirky things about Hotel Boulderado -- to use the antique elevator requires ringing a buzzer to call an operator, and there is only valet parking. However, the service was always friendly, prompt and helpful. It is a non-smoking hotel, but there is a bar in the basement that is popular with college students who go outside to smoke. My friend has asthma and found it difficult to walk from the hotel entrance to the car through the smoke from a dozen partiers. Even though the hotel has a vibrant night life, our room was very quiet. There were many special touches in our room, such as fresh flowers, chocolates and fabulous grapefruit-scented soap!
“Superb Historic Hotel”
We Skiied Beaver Creek and stayed overnight in Boulder on the way back. What a super Hotel and Staff! Walk the block to the Yellow House for Breakfest...the staff recommended and it was great! We were a family of four with an 10 month old.
“I loved Boulder”
Historic hotel right in the middle of Boulder's pedestrian area. Helpful staff, comfortable rooms, beautiful lobby. I had a great time.
