"A lovely old property(150 years old) where they have kept some of the original features. I think it is due for an update in a few years but I hope they keep some of the original features. We stayed in the Coastguard cottages which were excellent but connected to the hotel with a covered walkway. The staff were excellent and very obliging. The evening meals were excellent although breakfasts were typical large hotel buffet style.i would still recommend it though."

"We stayed at one of the chalets. As a family with a young baby it ticked all the boxes. The room was very spacious, the kitchenette to prepare the food for the baby was very handy. The room was very clean as well. We requested a cot bed which was already set up in the room when we arrived. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has great location, it’s on a quiet street but within walking distance to the town centre. We didn’t use the pool but it seemed nice."
