"It was great to be able to pull up outside and check in before then parking the car in the carpark adjacent to the building, which at £17 each night of my stay, available until midnight the following day was a great deal. All the staff were friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The public rooms were outstanding, the bedroom clean, spacious and very comfortable. Shower gel and shampoo was from the fantastic This Works range. Breakfast was standard help-yourself with everything you could want with an open kitchen where hot dishes such as porridge and special requests were available. I thought from the pics that outside seating was available at the front with a view of college green but was instead between two walls at the back, albeit open air, although there were tables at the side but not available in the evening. The Hippodrome and Bristol Beacon were just across the road. The hotel was situated just right for getting around and enjoying the city. "
