"Incredibly friendly staff, especially Naomi was very helpful and cheerful. The room spacious and clean, and to me a very comfortable bed, the bathroom is large and clean, though for the size the shower could have been a little bigger, the balcony had a lovely view over the garden and across the lake. Great space to sit and relax. Nice kitchenette if you do wish to cook. The bar has a great view. Again with frendily staff. Swimming pool area available and some pleasant relax areas. Good value...

Accommodation states that rooms have air conditioning, this is not the case, they have a plug in fan which is in no way sufficient during 34 deg C heat, very uncomfortable sleeping conditions. Arrived to be told that keys need to be collected from office in Bardolino (several KMs away) due to Covid, this was not communicated in advance, luckily we had a hire car others did not. "We drove around in circles for 2 hours looking for the hotel. GPS Kept saying that we had arrived. We had. The hotel was only 100 metres away, but no road access. A kind man phoned the hotel for us only to find out that we had a one time access on the pedestrian way to check-in and off load the bags. How coukd we know this? "We stayed at the Beatrix for a week in July 2015. We wanted a base to explore Garda whilst being able to walk into Bardolino in the evenings. The apartment was on the 2nd floor with a balcony off each room. We found the apartment basic and fairly clean although the bathroom could have been a little cleaner (toilet brush was disgusting) and the bathroom had a horrible smell. We payed for air con which was 50 euros but we expected this and this was good in each room. We expected to have towels...

"It was a great stay, hotel is very nice and situated in beautiful town. There are a lot of restaurants and few shops nearby. There is a possibility to play tennis, courts are in a good state, red clay surface. Also there are a lot of hiking routes you can do not far from the hotel. "Our third stay at the wonderful Lefay Spa overlooking Lake Garda. Still cannot get used to the stunning view over the lake, it's quite something. Love this place so much, it is truly restorative for the soul and mind. Staff are quite wonderful, the Gramen Restaurant outstanding, especially as there is a tasting plant-based menu available (very rare). Our only gripe is the Limonaia restaurant where it's a struggle to find plant based dishes on the menu, plus the wine list by the glass is poor....
