Great location and very friendly staff. Showers did leak quite a bit and the wifi was very weak. Overall great hotel to visit Budapest but does have some facility shortfalls.

Property was in an excellent position in the city, easy and walkable to all the major sights. Hotel staff were lovely and friendly, room was perfect and very clean. Could be made better with tea and coffee making facilities in the room but other than that everything was perfect.

We really liked the hotel, they are polite and friendly staff. Nice and clean room. The breakfast was very good but the coffee was not very tasty.

The D8 Hotel is very well located in Budapest - easy access to restaurants and shops as well as being close to the river and transport links The staff are very friendly and helpful and gave us a very warm welcome The rooms are comfortable and well equipped and apart from thoughtless guess slamming doors the hotel is also very quiet The breakfast is varied although the dining area becomes busy during peak periods I would happily recommend the hotel to other visitors looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Budapest

The position of the hotel in the center of Budapest walking distance of most sights, and underground to get about. Shopping near and all sorts of dining establishments. I will certainly stay in D8 again.

Lovely hotel. Not flashy and pretty basic but is very clean, well presented and is a cool place to stay. The best part about this hotel is the location. It’s literally in the middle of everything. The staff in the hotel were brilliant, very helpful and hospitable. I would definitely look to stay here again when I travel back to Budapest.

Very good stay for 3 nights two friends in a twin room. Very clean and nicely decorated, wonderful location very central to everything we walked everywhere! The bus from the airport is also close by. Breakfast was good with a decent amount of choice. Would recommend this hotel.

Located in a pedestrian only section of the street, literally a less than 5 minute walk from the chain bridge. and right at the start of the main shopping street. Breakfast is included. Nothing seemed to be much trouble.

This is a great property, close to the Danube, public transit, shopping, restaurants, etc. Within walking distance to most of the major tourist/historical sites. The room was clean, staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. Would definitely stay here again.

Definitely would stay again. Loved the patio map wall.Small rooms. I booked twin beds, but worth the excellent service. The breakfast was delicious and had all options, would suggest opening the self serve coffee machine at 4:00 am for early departure. The trip to airport is far and rooms don’t have hot pot.

We loved the breakfast, staff were very friendly, the bartender was so friendly and have us hot water for tea, they called us our taxi etc. the mini croissants are the best, along with the cereal and yogurt bar. Location was very convenient, right next to the river and bridge. We would of given a five star review but wifi in our room was non existent, we got one bar if we were lucky.

Excellent hotel with excellent location and excellent staff, very good breakfast. The hotel has 2 problems: the beds are not the most comfortable and the wireless internet is not good in the rooms. Overall a very good value for the price. מלון מצויין עם מיקום מצויין וצוות מצויין , ארוחת בוקר טובה מאוד . יש למלון 2 בעיות : המיטות לא הכי נוחות והאינטרנט האלחוטי לא טוב בחדרים . סה"כ תמורה טובה מאוד למחיר .

Fantastic location!
Fantastic location! Just a 3 min walk from chain bridge and 5 min walk from metro. Very clean modern hotel. Only comment I would have is that the bar closed at 10.30pm which is fine but they wouldn’t even get you a tea or coffee after that time. Staff were very friendly and helpful - they ordered taxis etc which were always there on time or early! Would defo rebook this hotel!

Lovely hotel
I stayed 2 nights with a friend in a twin room. It was clean, modern and had everything you could possibly need . The inclusive breakfast was great. Fresh pastries , bread and a good variety of cereals, drinks and a selection of cooked items . Location perfect - 5 minutes to the river and 5 minutes to the metro. Many attractions were walkable . Staff were very helpful and overall a great place to stay .

Absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. This is the perfect property to stay on a short trip to Budapest. The hotel is so nice and has a really cool alternative decoration which makes it very unique (it really gives a modern/young vibe to the place). Location is absolutely perfect, literally like 3 min walk to the Chain Bridge at the Danube River. Breakfast is good, not loads of options but quality food. Staff is very friendly and ready to help. The only down side is that the room is quite small, so it can feel a bit cramped, however that wasn’t really a problem if you are visiting the town you are only really using the hotel to sleep breakfast etc (as you’ll be most of the time outside exploring the city), plus the lobby area is quite nice and cosy if you want to chill there (there’s plenty of sofas/seats plus a bar and a big screen). I would definitely recommend and would go back if I visit Budapest again :)
