“Can't fault it”
Stayed here for the F1 weekend. Located within 2 minutes walk of the metro, from where you can easily get to the Hungaroring, as well as being only 2 stops from the centre of the Pest side. Walking distance (10 minutes) to Buda Castle. Nice new, clean hotel. Staff very helpful and gave us clear instructions on getting to the track by public transport.
“Excellent furnishings and pristine with service to match.”
Equals any 5 star hotel without the facilities which are seldom used unless on busines. For the "weekend break " tourist, to find better would be difficult.
“To Novatel or Not?”
I stayed with my family and Business Colleague for three nights. The staff are helpful if you ask, otherwise they let you get on with you day. Free wired internet access in the room, or you can buy a voucher for wireless connectivity. The location is right opposite the Parliament Building, superb. There is a Shell petrol station just behind for drinks and snacks and a Spar Store for everthing else which is a five minute walk away, along the road. There is also a nice pizza restaurant there too, which is convenient if you don't to go into the main tourist areas.
“Very good hotel”
Stayed for 2 nights and was extreamly happy, the whole place is really fresh and new. The rooms are of a higher standard than most 4 star euro hotels. Pretty good location too.
“Excellent”
Ideal location within minutes from subway, supermarket and garage. Friendly, helpful staff. Room was very clean and well-maintained and the air-conditioning worked a treat. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a nice hotel in a scenic location on the river with parking right in front of the hotel.
“great location and service”
I wasn't lucky enough to have a Danube view room but even the view from the end of the corridor was pretty good - the parliament buildings directly opposite. Breakfast could have done with some more fruit but staff at reception, the restaurant and room service were polite, helpful and spoke impressive English. The room was clean, pleasant and had everything I needed. I would definitely stay here again.
“Friendly and very helpful staff”
Hotel on Buda side so rather quiet but wonderful view across the Danube. Our room was a little small but very clean and comfortable. The staff were fantastic at organizing everything we wanted including tours. Had breakfast at the hotel once but that was pretty poor and not good value so we went out the rest of our stay.
“Novotel Budapest Danube was a great find!”
A quick search of the Expedia.com website led me to the Novotel Danube in Budapest. The room was super modern, with a view of the Danube and the beautiful Parliament and a great deal! Minutes from the metro and museums, the baths, and restaurants.
