"This is a very nice B&B located conveniently to the attractions around Kerr Lake Reservoir . It is owned and operated by a couple from the Netherlands who sprinkle a little Dutch into the breakfast. The house was a pre-civil war Tobacco Plantation home. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable and Martin, our host was very attentive and helpful. I would rate it a very good value"

"What a strange place. Felt kind of shabby and unloved. Front desk unattended on several occasions. Staff slow and sometimes unhelpful. Hallway carpets scuffy. Nothing was terrible, but nothing was very good either. On the plus side, king balcony was large and had a nice lake view. Bed very comfortable and sheets were nice. I guess this is all you can hope for in such a small town? "

"Newly renovated. Perfect water pressure. Customer service the owners very tentative. I had a great nights rest. For this price you can’t beat the deal. Many food options near by. Gas station is walking distance. Next to a Food Lion. Everything was comfortable to me for a 2 night stay for my family of 5 "
