I checked in just to realize there were no parking spots due to an event in the area that day . We drove hours and were just looking for s place to spend the night. I booked the room two hours before arrival. When we got to town we realized that there was a big event happening but thought it was ok since hotels.com filer showed this hotel as “parking available”.I can’t really evaluate. The guy at reception tried to help, but he could do very little. There was zero alerts about parking being off site- I filtered the hotel by parking availability. So , it was impossible to recover the money and I blame hotels.com for making impossible to recover it and for not having a means to alert people correctly about the facilities of the place.
