Great hotel, really comfortable bed and decent pillows. Extremely clean and tidy. Downside was the corridor was a bit smelly of drains. However, once in the room you couldn’t smell anything. I would recommend this hotel.

Handy, standard hotel but made special by the guy on reception who not only checked us in, offered advice and information but also cooked meals and served drinks in the bar. Super star.

Easy to get to before and after the ferry as a convenient stop over. It has onsite High Speed EV Chargers that are quick enough for a top up whilst having a good enough breakfast. A basic hotel but it has all that I needed and expected.

Perfectly comfortable hotel.
It’s our second time at this hotel so knew exactly what to expect. It’s an IBIS hotel so we were looking for a comfortable bed, hot water for a shower and a decent breakfast- this hotel ticks all of these boxes. This time we’re given a connecting room which I really don’t like as it’s like sharing with strangers but luckily the room next door was empty:). Breakfast is the best we’ve had along our travels in Europe. Would stay again as it’s convenient, meets our needs, pet friendly and free parking. Definitely recommend for those travelling to/ from France.

This is my second time at this hotel and honestly can't fault it. It is easy to get to from LeShuttle and close to a Carrefour and petrol station. Rooms are on the small side but have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Ample parking. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Best in Calais
Very friendly front desk (Euphenia). She was understaffed, but still was able and willing to go the extra mile for us. Great food from the restaurant, easy check-in and out, and lots of safe parking.

After looking at this hotel with the great looking rooms overlooking the harbour and port and on arrival at what looked a very unsafe area of Calais being given a dirty dungeon type room no view except a hedge and metal security fence with a mouldy shower and unclean tiolet we decided to cut our loses and leave

Care re crime
I was burgled overnight, my overnight bag was snatched by the thief forcing open the flimsy door lock. I have emailed the hotel, but have had no reply. IF you stay there, do not leave a ground floor window open even if it is locked! The rest of stay was fine, restaurant was good, comfy bed, just wish id been warned that theres no cctv at the rear of the hotel.

Sets you up for a long onward journey
The hotel was functional, and I would stay again rather than start my trip from an overnight in Folkestone for a long journey. Breakfast really sets you up. The only issue is the fact that you can hear doors slamming and keys rattling along the corridor. But this, given the price and location, is a small negative detail.

By mistake made a booking on a non-refundable rate for the wrong month. Some hotels exercise discretion in such situations and are willing to correct the booking. This hotel wouldn't even discuss. They are technically in their right to do so. But since this interaction is the only one I had with them, my rating is based on this experience.

Just what we needed. Handy for the ferry terminal. Welcoming was okay, evening meal a bit disappointing. Breakfast was good, got back on the road easily, no fuss, no bother. I got the feeling they were short of staff as,as the night progressed they were a bit flustered.

Convenient overnight stay
Convenient location, hotel looks in need of refurbishment and decoration. Good food at restaurant but lacking any ambience. Good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.
