This property is very old and outdated. The fixtures in the room were rusted and should changed out. Toilet had a hard time flushing and pillows were horrible. We have stayed in other LaQuinta that were so much nicer. shame on me for thinking this one would be the same. there was no refrigerator, microwave or makeup wipes provided that are offered in other La Quintas. Breakfast did not look very appetizing and no fresh coffee offered throughout the day. I would not stay here again it is just very oudated.

It was nice, not perfect but it wasn’t terrible. Just seems really old but still was a good place to stay. Nice staff. Everything was fairly clean and had a really clean toilet and bathtub also.

Upon checking in, we waited 15 minutes for the hotel staff to “check the room.” When we got there, the TV had a busted screen, there was scuff marks all over the walls, and a wall lamp was askew and missing a bulb. Despite being a smoke-free property, our room smelled heavily of smoke (one of the beds had a hole in it that I’m guessing was from putting a cigarette out). Beds were reasonably comfortable and coffee was surprisingly excellent.

The bathroom needed a renovation. Paint was peeling off the tub, the handle came off the faucet. But there was plenty of hot water.

First of all, the grumpy old lady that was working breakfast during the week was just that, miserable, grumpy and very racist. We complained to the manager but he didn't seem to care at all saying she'd been there forever. The rest of the staff was friendly and the cleaning staff was great. It definitely felt well kept. You have to request a cleaning every 3 days but they are more than willing to accommodate. I loved the harbor view but it was a little on the outskirts of town, definitely not walking distance to anywhere but we would definitely stay again.

Hotel was ok but did not realise you could not walk into Charleston. The bridges don’t have pavements, do we had to drive. Plenty of parking though. Only one place to get something to eat California Dreaming which was nice but not cheap. Room was ok except the noisy air con unit . Plus the room that backed onto ours was noisy

This place was awful. Dirty rooms, asked for another pillow and they said they were out!!! Also asked for towels while at the pool and they were also out. Would give this place 0 stars if I could. Terrible.

This hotel was filthy and the sheets were not clean. I ended up getting conjunctivitis from the dirty pillow cases!

Room was not properly cleaned. And cleaning lady was on her phone, I had to wait for her to be off her phone to get her attention. When I asked her for towels she told me they were low and only gave me 2 and we are a family of 4.

The room was adequate and we enjoyed the location by the water and marina. The mattress was excellent! The room was not the cleanest I've even been in and breakfast was a bit sparse, but overall it was OK and we would stay again.

We were there for three nights and there was no housekeeping at all. I called the Front Desk to inquire about the lack of cleaning and was hung up on. The pillows were flat and uncomfortable. Hallway was dirty and hadn’t been vacuumed in quite a while. There were bits of trash in every corner.

Woke up couldn’t breathe, eyes ON FIRE, and couldn’t go back to sleep. ONLY got an 1 1/2 - 2 hours of sleep MAX! TERRIBLE if you come to relax and get some sleep before a long day of adventures. Never again! I had to move hotels and thoroughly enjoyed Doubletree and its commitment to cleanliness and non-use of harmful insecticides. I’ll take “Organic” over HARMFUL chemicals any day of the week!

Since Wyndham took over LaQuinta I have seen a gradual decline in the quality. Most of them are in serious need of repairs, new fixtures, etc. The bathtub was stained. The toilet wobbled, and the handle was broken. I found a dead beetle in the closet. There were no hangers. There was an iron without an ironing board. When we tried to change the temperature, it set off an alarm.

I got a room in the building with interior corridors. The room was large and upscale and I was initially very impressed. However, the mattress sagged and the pillows were just about useless. The bathtub had been reglazed at some point and it is flaking off and whoever caulked the tub didn't know what they were doing or didn't care. The shower curtain rod was hanging down in the center, lowering the curtain to the bottom of the tub. Not impressed

Location of hotel was good however unit 265 on back of 2nd building was extremely noisy from both the traffic and the air conditioner Exterior of building worn , rooms were clean but bed was just ok Bkfst ok , no fruit and lobby area clean but dated . Overpriced for what you got

There was a nice King bed but it was on the opposite side of the motel where traffic noise was a problem for sleeping. The sink in our bathroom was slow to drain the water.

We stayed in a detached building that was motel style. The room was in terrible conditon: peeling panelling on furniture, stained bathroom fixtures, no plug in bathroom sink and dirty. The door to the room was almost impossible to open.. Not at all worth the money.
