This hotel smelled great. it's not the overwhelming perfume or potpourri, but a pleasant smell of tea leaves. The breakfast was so great with so many varieties. All their staff were super friendly and courteous. I want to give a special thanks to Robert tending the the first floor. He's a hero in helping me navigating through the transportation system and my itinerary in China. Overall, a lovely experience. I wish I had more time in this hotel as I only stayed two nights.

Wonderful hotel, we stayed in the club suite, absolutely gorgeous. The club restaurant is nice, decent food, good wine great service. The signature Chinese restaurant on the 26th floor is just average, not worth the price and the effort.

Gorgeous property with five-star services, most of which were complimentary with our booking, super proactive and respectful staff, and amazing room overlooking much of central Chengdu. Also wonderful buffet breakfast. For someone more accustomed to American price points, the cost per night was an absolute bargain. I’ll end by saying this property got review bombed somewhat on Googs (looks like a lot of the 1-star write-ups complained about cleanliness), but everything including room condition and overall hygiene were 5/5 for me.

the people in loby was very nice and always try to service you or help you solve problem. pretty professional. I flew 19 hours and laned in the early morning, I know the normal check in time was 3 pm, however they try their best to have the room ready for me in about less than 30 minute.

Beautiful luxury hotel in the heart of the city of Chengdu! Great location easy to go anywhere in the city. Room is very clean, staff are very nice and friendly! The breakfast in the hotel is super awesome! Will stay again if come back to Chengdu!

One of the best Ritz Carlton hotels we have ever stayed. From the minute we stepped into the entrance to the main lobby on 25th floor, the staff greeted us with warm smiles. Check in was fast and easy. Our room on the club level had a great view of the city. From the spa to restaurants, every part of this property is well maintained by their friendly staff. Breakfast options are impressive with plenty of local Sichuan dishes. We would definitely come back again!

Luxury hotel with excellent location, amazing city view and friendly staff. She even offered me late check out at 4:00pm so that I could relax at hotel before my flight. Highly recommended. I would definitely come back again next time.

1.The staff, service, and atmosphere were excellent. :-) 2. The bed, pillows, and bedding were excellent. :-) 3. The carpet in the room was quite warn and stained with deep impressions from the chairs and furniture. :-( 4. The shower drain overflowed flooding the whole bathroom. When they came to fix it they replaced the floor mats but did not mop the floor. Debris from the shower including water was still on the floor next to the toilet. :-) 5. The air conditioning did not work according to the controller. For several hours in the middle of the night it got very hot. I woke up drenched in sweat and freezing because the air conditioner came back on. :-( 6. A highlight of our stay was the surprise honeymoon atmosphere the staff created with flower petals, towel-swans, cheesecake, and fruit. :-)

Ritz Chengdu is pass it’s heyday. Facilities remain good but needs upkeeping. Small issues like loose taps, outdated room decor. Saving grace is it’s staff who makes you feel welcome and at home. Give the Chinese restaurant a shot. Staff there are superb! Well done.

Warm welcome frim staff, very clean hotel with rooms with amazing views of the city. Our rooms were upgraded and we enjoyed three days in luxury surroundings. Buffet dinner once evening was enjoyable but expensive. Would recommend staying there as very central to many tourist attractions and underground train stations.

Good location and friendly staff. Comfortable room with nice bedding, We stayed only a night but bought an extra 1/2 day so we could have a place to clean up and shower before our long flight back to USA. Front desk staff spoke English well and communication was not an issue. They were also very helpful with question about the area. Hotel is located on a main street so getting cabs was not an issue. You can walk to Chunxi street or grab a quick cab ride to Wide and Narrow Streets or Jinli. Hotel building is not all hotel, so the check-in lobby is not on street level, but convenient enough via the elevators. Bell staff was very helpful with bags arriving and departing

Staying here was an absolute pleasure. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that we had a great stay - from giving us a Ritz lion, little pandas and making up the room for my husband’s birthday with balloons and a panda cake to escorting us (for free) to the Sichuan Opera to make sure we got there okay, nothing seemed like too much for the team. They worked together seamlessly to make sure that we felt welcomed and happy. It just seemed like there were constant little touches that showed they cared that you enjoyed your stay; the free gifts (free drinks, desserts, cake, stuffed Ritz lion, little pandas, taxi to the opera), attention to detail, English-speaking staff and friendliness have made us want to only stay at Ritz (if we could afford it!). The facilities, including the room and the gym, were top notch. The food in all the restaurants and in-room dining were delicious, particularly the all-inclusive dim sum in Lixuan which was fantastic value for money considering the quality of the food.

The hotel is beautiful and our room on the 34th floor was very spacious. Breakfast was great, we loved all the details, thanks Frank at the front desk for all your help and the postcard with the panda stickers. We had dinner at Li Xuan Restaurant and it was perfect, all the staff at the restaurant was so nice, we were amazed with the attention and generosity you can not expect less from The Ritz-Carlton.
