The hotel was in a great location. Closed to the train station. 5 min walk to the property. Plenty of food and restaurants surrounding. The staff was unfriendly, stayed for 4 nights, and only got a greeting once and asked questions and impatiently brushed off. The room was smelly like old carpet and mold. Bathroom was wet upon arrival (6 pm).

Comfortable stay even though the room was quite small. Friendly staff and fast check in. Twin bed was kinda small. Many dining options nearby such as the Korean Gastronomy restaurant next door. I would stay here again. Thanks.

Conveniently located to Chiayi Train Station. There was a washing machine and dryer conveniently located in the hotel which cost 30 NTD and 50 NTD respectively.

Clean room with Great location
This hotel is 5 minutes walk from Chiayi train station. The room is small but in good condition and very clean. The breakfast buffet was good with a lot of items to choose from.

The Country Garden Hotel is close to the Chiayi City City Train Station. My room was very clean. The service was excellent, friendly and helpful.

Hotel is small and has cigarette smell. Toilet was generally clean but can be improved. Cleaner can only enter if you leave your room card at frontdesk for cleaning. Sometimes complimentary water is omitted, but you may call the frontdesk to request for it. Vincinity is very convenient. Good food places nearby. 7-11 just across the road.

more information and instructions required
the stay was not bad. however the cleaning of the room was not done due to lack of information that require to hand over the key to the front reception upon going out for outing. Also the lack of safe deposit box in the room which can be a hassle for the guest to bring out their valuables.

Easy to access.
The location of the hotel is very near to the TRA station and bus station. Just one and a half block away from the station. It's also close to the night market. You can walk from the hotel just 15 mins.

Nice location, only 5 min walk to train station and restaurants. Staff are friendly but have limited English. Room was big and clean but quite dark, with spot lights in weird places.

Hotel within walking distance of Chiayi TRA so excellent location. 7-eleven, Mcdonalds, Family Mart and several local stores within minutes of hotel.

Excellent Location
The hotel is located in the busiest area of Chiayi, which is otherwise a fairly sleepy city, so it's ideal for travellers who like to be in the thick of action. It's about 5min walk from the TRA station (free shuttle from the Chiayi HSR station, about 30min) and there are loads of F&B options right downstairs. Perhaps the only slight downer was the room size but I've noticed most 3* hotels im Taiwan tend to be of similar size (about 20sqm and below); it's a functional size but just don't expect to be able to leave your luggage lying around and still have space to walk. Overall, an excellent location and cheerful service more than makes up for that!

Good location near train station
We just wanted a cheap hotel near the train station (to take the train up to Ali Shan in the morning) and this hotel fit our needs. Everything was clean and comfortable. There was a slight hiccup where we got a different room than the one we requested, but that was quickly resolved. The room was a little cramped, but I guess that's what you expect for the price. They let us keep some luggage at the front desk for a couple days, even though we weren't planning on returning to stay at the hotel, which was really useful. Very good customer service, and good location!

這個價錢（不指定房型）真的很佛心，有升降機、有洗衣機（不過數量有點少，而且限08-22）、也有浴缸，而且房間和床很大，很多置物空間。 也鄰近夜市和火車站，交通不是問題。

ぱっと見、全体的に清潔そうであったが洗面台の隅々にカビが生えていたし、極め付けは便器の内側がまったく掃除していないので、大量の排泄物がこびりついていた！ ウォシュレットだったので喜んだのだが、これでは使用できない。もうこのホテルに泊まろうとは思わない。
