Fairly average to be quite honest given the cost. We stayed for 5 days, the room we were put in didnt really take this into account. Very small. There were two adults checked in, with one arm chair in the room. Given the cost and the rating the property had, I would of thought someone would of checked in with us over our stay to ensure everything was ok. We had contacted reception once during our stay needing cutlery as there was none in the room.... They never showed up.

Great location and nice view! It's probably one of the tallest building in christchurch downtown. Directly at the first tram stop and ticket office. Room was clean. However, we were not notified that the bedsheets aren't change daily and doesn't seem to have an option to request it changed via any cards or sorts. Stained bedsheets weren't changed. Had a new towel that came with a long strand of hair and some stains as well. But overall, the hotel is a nice place to stay.

Convenient location next to New Regent Street and Christchurch tram. Lots of dining options and walking distance to town centre. Bar and restaurant available on site. Room is clean and quiet, it’s a service apartment with kitchenette. Place also has SQ crews so it’s safe.

Location is fantastic. Only 1km from gorgeous Hagley park and Botanic Gardens. Walking distance to City Mall and the Crossing for shopping , and city trams stop right outside. Lots of construction happening around Christchurch, but could not hear a thing. Staff was phenomenal. The only con was we noticed some paint chipping off the wall and a broken tile in the bathroom.

The room wasnt what we expected . There has obviously been some maintenance done in the room that wasnt finished properly . We couldnt park our vehicle onsite , so had to pay a extra 20 for 24 hour parking . Could hear constant doors opening and closing around us , and people walking in the room above . For what we paid for the room was quite disappointed

THE NO-BALCONY BALCONY ROOM
A real disappointment. While certain areas of the hotel look up too date and fresh, others are really lacking. For example, saw several areas in the hallways where the carpet was not in such great shape. We had a two night stay. After checking in, I went to the front desk to tell them that our toilet did not flush properly. Without getting gross, just not enough water pressure to clean out the toilet when flushed. No action taken by the hotel. Reported it again on the second day. Still no action by the time we checked out. We ended up using the toilet in the public area. We reserved and paid a premium for a "Superior Room with Balcony". I have no idea what is considered "Superior" about it. I was no larger than either of the standard rooms our traveling companions had. The door to the balcony had a sign in bold red letters reading, "Maintenance Access Only Strictly NO Public Access. When I asked about a rate adjustment I was told that was not going to happen as our room really did have a balcony. Silly me, I just assumed that it would be accessible. An overall 2 to 3 star experience and no way worth the ratings given. Fable Hotels were 0 for 2 on this trip. Accor has a lot of work to do if they expect people to chose this brand. I won't be in the future.

We really liked the Nespresso machine and the spacious bathroom, spa bath and salts were a nice touch. Lovely body and hand wash smelt devine! Bed was a nice size and comfy and climate control kept us cool overnight. Didn’t like how the complimentary bath robes laundered. They probably had once been nice big and soft but are small and like cardboard to wear. In between the couch crevices are bits of old food, otherwise the cleanliness was good.

The room was quite small but it was on the 14th floor and had a wonderful view. We also really appreciated the Nespresso machine.

very close to shops and cafes and transport. the view was fantastic we were on the 12th floor. Shower was big . Room was immaculate would certainly stay again already recommended it to some one. The only thing I didn't like was the pod coffee the brand tasted bitter and grainy
