The resort is far from the airport and getting to the beaches was a minor inconvenience as the hike to the bay-side beach was steep and a short shuttle is required for a trip to Manuel Antonio. "The bed was too hard and pillows firm. I prefer a softer mattress and fluffy pillows. In our room, the AC unit required a key to operate that was attached to our room key so when you leave, the AC unit turns off. So you come out of the heat to a hot humid room. However, our friends room AC unit didn’t require a key so make sure to ask about that. Other than that, the rooms are very spacious and clean. Our balcony was amazing to sit in the morning and have a cup of coffee looking out at the ocean...

From our door we spotted toucans, macaws, agouti, three types of monkeys, to mention a few. The owner is warm and welcoming. There is a delightful pool overlooking the jungle and ocean. We can’t imagine a lovelier place to stay. It is also very convenient to stores, a very natural beach, and restaurants. There is also a great highly rated Korean style restaurant on premises."

The resort is far from the airport and getting to the beaches was a minor inconvenience as the hike to the bay-side beach was steep and a short shuttle is required for a trip to Manuel Antonio. What the resort lacked in beach access, however, it more than made up for in amenities, scenery, customer service and dining options! Parador is a fantastic hotel and resort and I definitely recommend to anyone! "
