“Good location, business friendly room design, good service”

The Red Roof Inn Dayton North is conveniently located approx. 4 miles east of airport and 3 miles west of downtown, just off I-75. Clustered around many other hotels, motels and a good, solid selection of restaurants from fast food to Japaneese steak house. Walmart nearby for any forgotten toiletries. The hotel layout is basic with good, friendly staff and down home service. I had a "Non Smoking Business King" room which was modestly priced and comfortable. The room's amenities included mini fridge, microwave, king size bed, L-shaped pedestal desk, traditional adjustable office chair, special work desk lamp, WI-FI and free long distance phone calls. The front office offered free daily USA Today paper and featured a self-service cappucino/expresso machine. I felt very safe at this location and the surrounding area. A good, solid, modestly priced choice with easy on & off freeway access.

“Impressed with the improvements”

The room had been updated and had a nice size desk built in and set up for internet access. Also included and fridge and microwave. Nicer than I had really expected.

We have stayed at this motel every few months over the past 4 years. We are always satisfied with the quality, condition, and cleanliness of the rooms and friendliness of the staff. Rates are great compared to other motels in the area.

“great price great place”

I really enjoyed my stay. There was a fridge and microwave and it was very clean the bathroom was small and I would have like to have more pillows but for the price it was a great place to stay and I would stay again.

“Pleasant Surprise”

The old reviews for this hotel wrote about an older, worn out hotel. Then they renovated in 2006 and we stayed here in May 2007. We were very pleasnantly surprised at how nice the room was. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning was the quietest unit I think I've ever had in a motel room. It was very nice with a digital readout so just set the temperature and leave it alone, it worked great! The bathroom was very nice too with a great working shower with two heads. Overall, a nice surprise to get a room this nice at this price.

“Nice, quiet hotel for Dayton Hamvention”

rates were reasonable enough for the Dayton Hamvention week. Close enough to Hara. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Pop's (across the parking lot) was fine for breakfast. Despite being along I75, I found it to be quiet at night.

“Good for the money!”

Very clean and nice staff! Don't expect all the frills of a more expensive hotel, this hotel is very basic. But when you are just staying a night or two it is perfect, and the price is nice too!
