This is a great property for relatives of students at the local universities. Valet parking is pretty much required since there are few choices around the area for alternate parking. Food choices are an issue if you can’t walk over the river.

I like how convenient the hotel is to Ball Arena for Avalanche Games. Parking however, I was not so impressed, we paid $40 to have my vehicle parked in a dirt lot by a busy road.

We’ve stayed here twice for Nuggets games and we won’t stay anywhere else for any event we are attending in downtown Denver. This place is perfectly located and the staff have been so friendly both times. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the property is immaculately kept. The only thing I’ll be taking note of is the restaurant across the parking lot has very odd operating hours. This isn’t on the hotel and I think it is staffed by the college. But we had eaten there on our first visit and it was DELICIOUS. I was excited to go back and the hostess was about to let us sit when someone came from the back and said ‘the chef said we are closed’. The poor hostess looked so confused by the miscommunication and kept apologizing for something that was clearly not her fault! We ate somewhere else, and were going to go back the next day, but then they put a sign up in the hotel lobby that they’d be closed the rest of the weekend. It kinda sucked, so I hope that doesn’t happen on our next visit, because the food is really good.

We often stay here when coming for an Avs game. Love the location and the staff is amazing. I wish valet parking (the only on-site option) wasn't $45/night though, that's a bit tough on the pocket book. It's not a secret though so it's not a surprise when you get there. The staff is great, it's always clean as well.

Breakfast buffet just OK. Would rather have paid less and have no breakfast included. I get it-parking is expensive downtown, but 45 bucks?!?! I arrived late evening so I was able to meter park on the street for $2 until it became free at 10 pm

It was a little tricky to get in and out of. Also, I gave a card to put on file for incidentals but when we went to get something from the snack area we were told there was no card on file. Annoying.

The only downfall that i found at this hotel was the type of restaurant with limited menu was not impressive. The rest of our experience with Springhill suites was great.

The staff was super friendly and allowed us to check in 5 hours early! The room was very clean and the bathroom was also super clean. It was a short walk to either lower downtown or ball arena. I will definitely be staying here again.
