“Great downtown location”
We always enjoy Double Tree Hotels and this one is no different! When we checked in I wasn't feeling well, we were a little early and our room was ready, so that was a plus. We were on the 8th floor, The Science Fiction theme. Every level has a different theme. We were in a back corner, so it was quite. The location of the hotel is a real plus. It is just 2 blocks from the 16th Street Mall & is in about the center. There are restaurants in every direction. We didn't eat at the restaurant in the hotel, The Corner Office, however, it was busy alot while we were there. Do keep in mind if you have car, it is about 20 to self park and almost 30 for valet. We did like the hotel decor, it is modern and clean. They have snacks and drinks by the front desk and there is a 7 11 around the corner. The rooms do not have fridge's or microwave's. We would prefer they did as we always seem to bring back leftover's. We will definately stay here again due to location of the mall and the performing arts center is across the street. We usually stay in the Denver Tech area when we go to Denver, but it seems downtown is the place to be.
“Very nice!”
The hotel cleanliness and staff were great, but it was the special little touches they added (warm cookies in the lobby, etc.) that really put The Curtis on my list to recommend to friends.
“Perfect!”
Perfect!
“Got a great deal and it's better than the Hyatt & Marriot!!!”
Great Hotel, it has closer to the hottest night clubs in Denver. Way way better rates than the Hyatt but same or even better quality and customer service!!!
“Nice hotel, Easy access to downtown Mall. Would go back”
Nice hotel. There was a little incident with my children and a drunk, house security responded immediately. Beds were fantastic!
“Doin' Denver”
For a weekend get-away we decided to stay in the heart of the city and found The Curtis to be perfect; location to restaurants, theaters, arts, LODO and the interstates was right on! The hotel staff was very responsive and respectful of our wishes. The Office restaurant staff were very knowledgeable about things to see and do in the area; the breakfast was very statisfying as well. The themed floors made it fun to ride the elevator and a great conversation starter with the others in the elevator. Highly recommend.
“What a fun place...and so convenient”
There couldn't be a better Denver location than the Curtis. It is directly across the street from the best theatre and music venues in the city, and within walking distance of some of the best restaurants and the 16th Street Mall. The rooms, hallways and meeting areas are decorated with great imagination. It's the first hotel we've been to where it was fun to take a tour of the different floors. The young staff was very pleasant and eager to help.
“Extremely happy with The Curtis for the price”
Very nice first impression. Friendly staff, plesant lobby, and a warm cookie!
“Far exceeded my expectations!”
The staff was very friendly. The hotel is in perfect walking distance from many downtown attractions. The room was much bigger than I had expected it to be (we had 2 queen beds). The only thing I wished our room had was a bath tub instead of just a standing shower. The restaurant/bar in the hotel lobby was great and seemed to attract a crowd all own it's own. I thought it was a great hotel, especially for the price! I would highly recommend it and stay there again for sure.
“Downtown Denver Fun Place”
This is a great fun hotel. Each floor is in a different theme (ours was "Rocky"). The location was very convenient to16th Street, only 2 blocks. Close to coffee, restaurants, shopping, Colorado Rockies baseball stadium. Our ONLY complaint was that we were in a room that had the ability to adjoin the next room and we could hear every word of their conversations. Make sure to request a non-adjoining room and everything will be great.
