Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a refreshing welcome drink—a much-needed treat after enduring an eight-hour car journey to reach the hotel. This thoughtful gesture was deeply appreciated and set a positive tone for our stay. The reception staff, in particular, left a lasting impression with their exceptional service and friendly demeanour as they guided us to our suite on the second floor. The following morning, we eagerly made our way to breakfast, and we were met with an experience beyond compare. The service we received was unparalleled, with a wide array of offerings ranging from sandwiches and traditional Tamil breakfast items to fragrant rice and flavorful curries. Each dish tasted as if it were prepared with care and attention, reminiscent of home-cooked meals. However, what truly made our breakfast experience memorable was the outstanding service provided by Janith and Praveen. Among them, Praveen stood out as a beacon of hospitality, going above and beyond to accommodate our every request and ensuring that our stay was nothing short of exceptional. "We spent two nights here and we were comfortable even though the room was basic. Breakfast on the balcony was lovely. There’s a steep climb back home after going down to the main street, so you will give your calves a good stretch, but it’s worth it for the view of Little Adam’s Peak that you get in the morning. Overall a very good choice of accommodation in a small, quiet guesthouse. "

"The room was beautiful, comfortable, great AC and wifi, the hotel itself is breathtaking, with a variety of plants and gardens, the buffet breakfast food (which was included in our package) was EXQUISITE. The dinner buffet was a bit too expensive for what it was. 13000 SLR for two people (which is about 60 CAD). "

"We had a very enjoyable and comfortable two days stay. No complaints. Our room was nice and spacious, with a bay window and seating area. You do need to be a bit agile to climb out of the shower, which is over a bath with high sides. We tried several of the restaurants and the cafe. All were good. Service can be a bit patchy, but really, who cares when you are in such lovely premises with outstanding garden areas. We were very pleased to have chosen to spend two nights here; one night is not enough to fully appreciate what is on offer. "
