"I liked the room very much, very spacious and good area, for value much better than the dumps I saw in the city center. the owner helpful and nice. The only problem is that the hotel is indeed about twice as far from the city center as indicated, so if you dont have transport its a long walk about 2:9 kms. each way. "We stayed here last year and were happy to return. We booked one of the 3 bungalows in the owners garden. The bungalows are basic but comfortable with plenty of wildlife - raccoons and monkeys visit most days and humming birds everyday. To sunbathe you need to visit the National Park (a small donation required) which is 3 min. away and has wonderful beaches and walks through the rain forest - watch your bags as the animals will try and steal any food in them. "The place is ok, a little over rated in my opinion. One has to get out of the car to open gate to get into a small parking space. They woke me up early on Sunday morning to move my car, cause I was the last one in the parking space last night and someone wanted to leave, so I had to get up to move my car. They were very rude about it. So parking is an issue, as it was raining hard and had to get out to open and close gate also."
