"The hotel sits right on the water in a neighborhood less than a 10 minute walk from the main water taxi stop. I liked it because it wasn’t touristy. I traveled with my 14 and 9 year old, and they loved the two hammocks by the dock. After a little hiccup at check in about a room that would accommodate us, we had a great experience with the staff. "Mixed feelings about this place. The entrance of the pool is very nice and so is the common area on the rooftop. Great location, 1 block from train station. And plenty taxi outside. The rooms are a bit rundown. The closet of both rooms they put us in was broken and the windows don't lock. When it's locked you just shake them and they opened in both rooms. The person incharge told me that they are all the same. The washroom is also not in best shape but nice spacious. All flaws I can ignore....

"Cool location in the lush jungle with walking paths and warm water! I only lost a little skin on the waterslide, but still so fun! The included hike to hospital point was surprisingly perfect. Nightime underwater glow worms were a trip! I didn’t book this room, but they put me in a sea urchin shaped upsides pool, it was cool. The second night I did get eaten alive by mosquitoes (from under the door and ceiling circle air vent wasn't a perfect closure. Fan was very needed, but still a bit hot one...

"We had a perfect stay! After reading the reviews we were hesitant but having experienced it ourselves, I feel as is we were at a different place than others. The only thing, I agree with is that the infinity pool could use some repair/maintenance and that you have to plan your time swimming in the ocean. *I recommend watershoes for the ocean. That being said, the grounds, staff, food, drinks, tour (half day Panama Canal/City) with Panamazing from the resort were great! We just loved the Bordeaux restaurant! Try a Panama water (alcoholic drink) at the bar and mimosas at breakfast! "
