"Six senses can only be described as a dream…. From arriving to the exclusive private ferry port I was greeted by an amazing view of several islands as I awaited for our private boat to whisk away on a 10 minute boat ride to our own private Gilligan’s island retreat called Krabey. Upon arriving we were greeted by the warmest staff and offered a ceremonial watering…. From there on we were given a thorough tour of the Island and its amenities which quite literally will sweep you off your feet…. From the massage and fitness centers to the mushroom hut, you literally could not ask for more. We booked the ocean villa with our own private pool and it did not disappoint. In fact I almost fainted upon entering as I couldn’t believe rooms and views like this existed …. Stand up paddle boarding, snorkeling, are all complimentary on its own private beach which to be fair… you can pretty much call everything on this island private as six senses is the only hotel on this island …I finally found a sense of calm when I was able to look out into ocean from this island… you felt as though the island was your own private island with no one around except staff - who were so kind you looked at them as family and not staff…. A TRULY special experience that is unforgettable and needs to be experienced by anyone traveling to Cambodia. "

"I had a beautiful stay at the Palm Beach Bungalow Resort. I stayed in a beach front bungalow which was very clean and had a beautiful view. The staff were lovely, and all the meals were delicious. I went on the boat trip which cost 20 USD and included fruit and drinks. We went snorkelling, fishing and swam with glowing plankton. I definitely recommend doing this if you have time. The location was very picturesque, and the resort didn’t get too loud which was nice. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and cannot thank the staff enough for making it so memorable. "

"It's pure paradise- the best place to stay on the island as we walked around and seen many other places. The idea of Moonlight Resort and round domes with window in the ceiling so you can see stars and are woke up by sun is excellent and something to remember forever. We are so happy to be there in the low season when it was so quiet that we felt almost alone with the whole paradise just for ourselves:) The service is very polite and nice, 5* -thank you so much for upgrading our reservation so we could enjoy a dome. The common area with big swing lounges, palm trees and jacuzzi is so beautiful and perfectly arranged that you don't feel like going anywhere, it's perfect:) The location is also great -close to the main pier and 'downtown' of Saracen Bay, but beautiful quiet part of the beach and next to the path to the Lazy beach. The resort serves wide selection of delicious breakfasts and has good restaurant and you can eat in beautiful surronding next to the sea. Free taxi boat transfers you from and to the ferry. It's one of the most beautiful places I've ever been- strongly recomend. After busy season it just needs a bit maintance and paint to glow again which is probably planned now in low season. "

"Everything was perfect, except for the fact that my husband fell ill (we suspect food poisoning). The hotel has a nurse who assisted him and provided medication. I’d definitely go back in any case. "

"Koh Rong is quiet but the Hill Beach Resort is located near the more popular area of Long Set beach. Probably nicer places along the other beach but your stuck far away from shops and restaurants. The resort and staff were lovely and I think its the pick on the island. They have their own jetty which the main ferry line drop you off at."

"Sok Sabay is a beautiful oasis but outside the confines is garbage and skeletons of buildings that were started then abandoned before finished. The restaurant in the resort was a real surprise with Khmer and French influences. Staff can’t do enough for you. The resort could use some maintenance but for money it’s a bargain and if I ever returned to Cambodia I’d stays again on way to islands. The Otres beaches are within walking distance. Beware US Dollars is king in Cambodia but you must have new money with no creases or tears. Credit cards not widely accepted and experienced many broken ATM’s. "
