"Very good stay indeed. Helpful staff. Good breakfast. Supplied an iron. Little critisisms: not enough milk for the tea, asked the staff if they could deal with a fly in our room whilst we were away and they said yes. The fly was still there on our return and the other staff said they didn't deal with that sort of thing. I asked for fly killer and there was none. I ended up killing the fly myself. Not much of an issue but would've been good if they said at first that I had to deal with it myself....

"I stayed here with one of my good friends for a weekend of walking and heritage visits. "Just stayed at this property, the staff were really friendly and helpful and went above and beyond. Thank you to the night manager who came out in the early morning to check I was OK and offer me a coffee when I was sitting out on a bench waiting for the RAC man after an issue with my car. All staff we met were really helpful and friendly, the room was clean and airy - really enjoyed our stay. "
