"We had a wonderful experience at this property. The location is perfect. We traveled via train and the station is literally right across the street. As for the hotel it has wonderful ocean views. It is the perfect starting point for a walk along the waterfront. I am a huge Agatha Christie fan so this was the perfect place to stay and start our experience. The hotel is very grand - like the name - but also very inviting and comfortable. All of the staff were wonderful. Highly recommend!"

"We booked a one night stay to visit family and see a show. Loved our room. We booked a standard with a sea view and it was perfect. The room itself was clean and pretty. The bathroom was nicely done. The view was spectacular! We had a balcony we could sit outside on to enjoy a drink and the view. Bed was comfy and room not too hot. Great soundproofing as there was an alarm going off all night nearby but we couldn't hear it. OH struggles to sleep when we are away due to room temp and bed comfort. This is probably the second time he has ever slept right through the night so bonus points for that. Only a couple of things to mention. Would have been nice to be able to enjoy a sun lounger on the balcony. It was big enough for a couple. There was no toilet brush in bathroom. These things are hardly a deal breaker. Staff were very friendly and we couldn't ask for more really. Felt the room price was about right for the room and the view. We will definitely return! "
