“Great experience”
We really enjoyed our stay here very close to most amenities. The staff were very pleasant. The breakfast was delightful and well priced the same with room service. There are a variety of restaurants to chose from. We would recommend this hotel to anybody looking for a pleasant stay in Dubai
“Really impressed”
I sould admit that i was very impressed. I have been around the world and never seen such commited, respectful, attentive staff. The hotel is a new one may be that is the reason, hope they keep it up :). the hotel is surrounded with constructions which makes walking quite impossible and you have to depend on Taxis.
“Lovely hotel in the middle of constrution sites...”
Hotel was gorgeous and very clean. In the middle of construction sites but then again pretty much most places are in Dubai. The hotel is very nice, good bar especially enjoyed the spa and outdoor jacuzzi on the 18th floor. Recommend the milkshakes at juzz bar.
“Excellent Hotel”
We spent 4 nights at the Grand Millenium and found the hotel and staff to be excellent and would recommend to anyone thinking of going to Dubai. The area surrounding the hotel is very much still a builing site and looks like it may be like this for a while, but where isn't in Dubai. Taxis are a must but the are very resonable in Dubai. Inside there is a good choice of resaraunts and bars. The view of the palms and the Atlantis hotel form the pool is breathtaking!!! Five Stars
“Grand Millennium Dubai Hotel”
This is a excellent quality hotel. However, it should be noted that this hotel is currently situated on a building site. Not many taxi drivers know where it is so make sure you get a card from the concierge so that you're able to give the taxi driver directions. It's a little bit further out than a majority of the other hotels which is reflected in the price but then you need a taxi to travel everywhere in Dubai. Would definitely stay there again.
“up and coming dubai”
This hotel is in the middle of a building site - that said it is very plush and the staff are most attentive. From this hotel it is only about a 3 pound taxi ride to the Mall of the Emirates which is also the local metro station. Be aware if arriving on Friday nothing gets going before 2pm so dont expect too much from public transport. Taxis are great and cheap compared to UK. We went in the middle of winter and the temperature was 20-25 degrees, so a good summer by our standards. The place is super clean and you feel very safe as there are officials everywhere. Dubai is a must see experience but it is not a cheap holiday destination.
“Grand Millenium Dubai”
Pros: Very sleek, clean, high-tech, with wenge wood and flat panel TV; Service a bit spotty, hotel is in a construction zone
“Not Impressed”
I have been in 4* hotels in Europe and the room and hotel quality was better than this 5* hotel. The location is not that great either, as you will need a cab to go anywhere. Furthermore the hotel is in the middle of a construction area, so there was lots of noise. On the positive side, the staff was amazing and the service excellent. However if you really want to leave Dubai's best, I would definitely recommend spending some extra money and staying on a hotel by Jumeirah beach. That's what I will do next time.
“good price to value”
Overall the hotel nice , quality of the staff ( reciption ) so bad you will have prablem with front disk and every time you pass there some one have . wront staff in wrong place .
“Poor service”
First, it's about 15 to 20 km from the airport. Tell the taxi driver it's the Millennium near Rotana Media City-I think that's what he called it. Otherwise he'll take you anywhere but there. I got there late around 10:00 pm. There was no room ready so I had to wait for a half hour. I got to my room and the safe didn't work and there was no hot water. I was tired and called the desk when I got up in morning to tell them about it and also have them bring me an internet code. (That's around $30 a day.) A couple of hours went by and nothing. Finally a guy showed up, looked at the safe, and said he'd have to get someone else. He went to the bathroom, turned the hot water valve on, and let it run.....and run....and run. For 5 minutes or so. Then he turned on the bodait (sp?) to compare water temperature in it to the sink. The sink finally got lukewarm. That's the best it would ever get. Another hour or so the internet code arrived at my door. A few minutes later a couple of guys came to look at the safe. They said the safe was broken and would be back. They came back in another half hour with another safe. That took care of that problem. There's construction all around so if you want to go out for a snack or bottle of milk etc you have to walk down the street and jump over a wall to get to a convenience store. The service was very poor though. Suit yourself but I will not be back.
