Stay was great, however, there was a lack of towels for 2 people sharing. Our wet towels were left drying in the hooks, and the cleaner took them down and folded them so they stayed wet and got mixed up. I do not share towels, as unhygienic, so we had to ask for more towels for a 2nd time. Seems a bit common sense to let them dry or just replace them? But they were replaced quickly enough when I asked.

We stayed at Maldron at Galway and thought we'd have a similar at Maldron Pearse but we were wrong. Terrible experience. Front desk lady (Johana) was rude checking us in with no smile or effort to even help us with parking. The manager was no better when asking for extra towels or water, its almost like they hated working there. Location is also in a dodgy area and the rooms did not have a thermostat. Very run down room. Spend a little more money and stay elsewhere.

Overall pretty bad experience. Rooms are very tiny and not enough storage. Rooms don’t even have a mini refrigerator to keep your drinks cold. When we requested the ice from the reception, they sent us to their restaurant and the guy there was so rude and unpleasant. He won’t give more 6-7 ice cubes and if you ask more, he’ll show you the attitude. Also, we were renting the car and their garage doesn’t open automatically and you have to go to the reception to get in and out. That was a big shocker that they don’t even have sensor in place and on the top of it they charge you 15 Euro for daily parking. Rip off!

Our room was very noisy. We were near the elevator and could hear the conversations all through the night. My biggest ick was the nylon sock that was used to wrap around something in the ceiling. It was very dirty. We also found a sock from a previous guest under our bed.

Well located hotel, close to a Dart station. Easy to walk around, and in a pretty quiet area. Some renovations happening at the moment, but no noise while I was there. Breakfast was a full spread.

Room was clean and spacious enough for 3 friends. Not a fan of the open shower concept because it allows water to go everywhere. But that’s just my preference. We did have some issues with the toilet not flushing and the keys not working. Both were immediately addressed by the staff. Even at 5 am when we were up getting ready for a tour to Galway and couldn’t get the toilet to flush, the front desk came up to help. It was a great area. Would stay again.

The property was great. But the unit didn’t have a fridge which made it difficult to keep drinks cold. They had a restaurant downstairs where they can give you ice, but it meant that you had to go down each time you needed ice.

The room was nice and clean. Hotel was in a convenient location easy walking distance to many tourist sites. We didn’t eat at the hotel so not sure of the restaurant food but it looked nice.

Staff friendly and helpful best staff I've ever seen. Good selection for breakfast although food bland. Scrambled eggs should be seasoned and less milk used to prevent the excess water. Breakfast staff polite and attentive. Restaurant staff- polite and helpful. Steak and Guinness pie had pickled onions through it. Not a good combination. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The downfalls were the room being directly on a busy road and not being sound proof windows. It took a while to fall asleep and would then be woken up by any lorry’s, buses etc going past throughout the night. The room is also wooden floor, which makes it very cold under foot which meant keeping your shoes on, which after a long day isn’t the most relaxing.

Great location within walking distance to Trinity College, the Bord Gais Theater, the DART train station, many restaurants. I was able to check in early due to an early inbound flight. They will also keep your bags if you're room isn't ready early. They have a restaurant where I enjoyed a satisfying breakfast a few mornings. The room was nice and comfortable. The mattress could use an upgrade, but I slept fine overall. Definitely would stay there again.

Good Hotel, let down by lift noise into my room
Good location 15 minutes walk from the town centre, it's an area I'm familiar with as I'd worked in Dublin for 18 months. The hotel was clean and tidy and breakfast was well cooked and good value. The on;y issue for me was my specific room and the fact that t backed onto the lid shafts, therefore there was quite a bit of disturbance to my sleep (I'm a light sleeper) every time the lift was used. I didnt' speak to reception about this as I was only there for tw night and the first night I hadn't arrived until 0:30 and by the time I got to the room unpacked and noticed the noise I decided to put up with it. The next day I was out all day and wasn't getting back until late and couldn't be bothered to ask to change the room. Therefore overall I rate the hotel very good. But would suggest if you get allocated room number 137 (and probably 237, 337 etc) then ask for a different room as otherwise you will get noise from the elevator
