Stayed here to do the Dumbarton 10k, which unfortunately finished later than the restaurant was serving food. Great room, very clean. I had such a good nights sleep that I slept in! Would definitely stay here again

Great location fairly close to airport. Super friendly staff. Clean room. Comfortable beds but shower could be a little hotter. Restaurant was excellent. We had a lovely meal.

Staff friendliness and restaurant were a highlight. If you are looking for a comfortable, clean stay on a budget, this is the place. Room was a good size and we appreciated the tea and snacks provided. Location is right off the main road, but it’s walkable to the river and castle.

We decided to stay at the Abbotsford as we were attending a birthday party at the golf club. We have eaten in the Abbotsford before and decided to just stay there as we were unable to stay at our friends as I am unable to get up the stairs without pain. The staff at the Abbotsford were brilliant very friendly and helpful couldn't do enough for us.

Great service!
The staff at Abbotsford Hotel were all friendly and helpful. Service was great, by staff and management alike. We had a very quiet room on the back of the building, so that may have helped.

The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The food is very good! There is ample parking. The rooms are dated but the bathroom seemed to have an upgrade. The hotel is easy to get to.

The room for my family was perfect in size and amenities! We really loved the way each person helped us, they were helpful and warm! Dinner and breakfast were delicious! We would have loved staying there more days.

A Lovely stay
The rooms are spotless, food excellent, staff always happy to help and the hotel has a very relaxed atmosphere I'm sure created by the owners. Always look forward to visiting the Abotsford hotel.

Excellent hotel with friendly staff and excellent
We visit Dumbarton at least twice a year and always stay at the Abbotsford Hotel. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. We have evening meals and breakfast at the hotel and the food is excellent. The rooms are always cleaned to a high standard and the beds are very comfortable. We will return as it is in a great position to visit the town and easy access to other areas.
