"I was in Finland on business near Kuopio, and the hotels were full in that area. So, I opted to stay at Tahko Spa, about 40 minutes north. I was glad I did. My wife and I felt like part of the community. The apartment was immaculate and the staff was incredible. In all of my travels to 70 countries, the Finns are amongst the most warm and hospitable."

"The Spa Hotel Runni is a great spa resort. The basic services are a Sauna in the locker rooms and 4 pools (3 jets, 1 swimming). The jet pools were cooler than I am used too, but may be the norm for Finland. We took the optional Smoke Sauna. This was great and worth the 15 euros. "Beautiful, remite, peaceful, lakeside property with full breakfast included. Comfortable beds, practical kitchen, and a private sauna within the hillside villa unit. Outdoor covered deck with a barbaque. Access to resort restaurant and services including the spa. Access to nature hikes from the front door. COVID guidelines for physical distancing and facemask wearing in place for shared areas within the resort. Only issue during our stay was temporarily poor internet service within the villa...

"Good hotel with everything you need on site. The breakfast / sauna and one of the restaurants is weirdly in another part of the hotel which require a walk and another elevator / stairs -but the rooms are spacious and staff at reception very helpful. No room service though, so beware of getting back late due to your work!"

"May it have been a special ocasion, but rather than a hotel, the impression is of a well equipped elderly residence. No possibility to get a beer after 21:30h. And strictly forbidden to drink it outside on the terrace out of business hours. I cant recommend"
