"There were 7 of us in our party and we each had the double queen room. Yes, there were mountain views, but only through the back window. The lobby, with couches and a fireplace, where we hoped to gather in the evening, closed at 7:00 pm. It was too cool to use the outdoor firepit. But we got together in a room with no problem. The staff was excellent, very helpful. The breakfast was way better than expected. The best thing about Discovery Lodge is the location, about 2 minutes from downtown. We were all happy with this lodge and would stay there again."
