“Substandard Accomodations”

Rooms are small. Mattress sags. No air conditioning. When we arrived the temp. was 84 outside; room temp was estimated to be 90+. Breakfast is virtually meatless and is supposedly different ethnic concoctions. Never did we have bacon & eggs or anything remotely resembling an American breakfast. Floors were not swept. The water has a definite sulferous odor the downtown hotels do not have this problem as they are on the municipal water system and I am told many of these outlying areas are on wells. The difference in cost between 7 gables & the downtown motels is not sufficient to warrant putting up with the shortcomings.

“Dump Motel”

I was amazed how low rate this hotel was. I didn't get the one bedroom apt. I was billed for, nor was I refunded any money for the standard room we had to accept. I would not reccommend this hotel to anyone unless they were homeless. Expedia did provide us with a gift certifigate which I thank them for. It wasn't totally their fault.

“Waste of Money! Not a real hotel!”

This really wasn't an INN - it was someone's house renting out bedrooms! Their "office" where you check in was in their kitchen! I called and asked if they had free pick up from the airport - they said no. As I arrive in my paid taxi, their "we'll pick you up from the airport" van passed right by us dropping off customers from the airport! After seeing this place, I wouldn't have paid anymore than a motor inn rate to stay here, and they charge like 3 times that !

“look elsewhere”

Beware of the studio apts and efficiencies- they are like student housing. They have no jacuzzi and are a distance from the main house where breakfast and computer access is. They are not in particularly aesthetically pleasing settings. Gourmet breakfast are ambitious but not always edible. I suspect you can get more for your dollars elsewhere.
