“Very pleased”
Very welcoming and friendly staff, comfy beds and linens, crystal clean pool and cant beat the price. Will definitely stay there again.
“Our recent stay”
The receptionist was very cordial, pleasant and welcoming. Staff-cleaning crew and supporting staff was cooperative with great attitude. Inside the room, the air conditioning unit was either too cold or not enough. But tolerable! We had a dinner one night by default. That is one area that needs improvement. Menu was limited and what we had was not the most tasty compared to other adjacent places. There was only one person carrying on all the responsibilities. This is one area that needs improvement. Overall rating: 4.5 Guest
“We had very good time”
Rigth on the beach, good location. We had very good time and the staff was very friendly.
“great for cruisers”
We stayed in this hotel last year before a cruise and were happy to be back again. We were very pleased with the beautiful room. We especially appreciated the ability to park (gratis) in the hotel lot during our cruise and the bus service to the pier and back to the parking lot. Buffet breakfast seemed pricey but ordering from the menu is a good deal.
“Clean and friendly”
The staff was friendly and professional. The room was clean with a good bed and fluffy pillows. The location is perfect - right on the beach and in a good neighborhood near restaurants and shopping. My only complaint is that it didn't include breakfast like many hotels do, and wireless internet is also an additional fee. But the hotel stay was very pleasant.

“Nice hotel, which balconies were oceanfront, instead of oceanview.”
Great location, the rooms look recently updated. Eventhough the majority of the rooms are "oceanfron"' these rooms only have a large window and not a balcony facing the ocean. "Oceanview" rooms do have a balcony but the view is from the side not oceanfront. I did not know this when I booked the room, but was able to change to a balcony room (which to me was more important). However, if there had not been a room with a balcony available, I probably would have cancelled my reservation and found someplace else with a balcony and ocean front room. Overall I was happy and the hotel is very nice with a heated pool. No complimentary breakfast.
“Staff were really helpful”
Fabulous hotel on Seawall Blvd with lovely pools right across from beach. Clean room with lovely bathroom, thick towels and robes. Small balcony but room to sit out with coffee. Didn't see much of Galveston as I tripped in car park (my own fault) and needed medical treatment for gash to chin. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond what was expected, even offering to get their courtesy bus out to take us to medical centre and giving me butterfly strips to hold wound in place until I got there. They asked how we had got on when we got back and made the whole unfortunate episode so much better. First class staff. Only down side - no free wifi. We stayed in 21 hotels in the month we were in the States and the Hilton Group was the only one to charge for wifi. Come on Hilton, if everyone else can do it why not you?
“Can't wait to go back”
We had a great stay while on our honeymoon. The rooms were very confortable and the people were extremely helpful and nice. The beds were comfortable and room was very clean. I would like to see wi-fi in rooms instead of having to go to lobby.
“Alway's A Pleasure..”
Stayed at the Hilton 3 days prior to cruise. This hotel is right on the main strip and it is surrounded by Restaurants ..Stores..Bars. Souvenier shops.. bike rentals an other activites. Everthing is within walking distance..there is a Krogers an Walmart also close by. We walked to Krogers to get snacks for room. The Hilton does not allow outside food but they did not push the issue of not allowing you to bring it to room. They don,t have microwave in the rooms. The room was very clean an comfortable we had a room in the Tower that looked directly over the Gulf . It was a beautiful sight to leave all the curtains open an wake up in the morning an admire the beauty of the ocean from your bed.They do have room service which was very reasonable. I have stayed here numerous times an I have never been disappointed. Also a must is to go to Landrys Steakhouse its next door just walk over or the Rain Forest . The Hilton also has a gym ..a gift shop ..and they have a restaurant on site also (very good food). My own personal opinion is you can,t go wrong when staying here.As I stated it's Always a Pleasure...oh they also offer cruise transportation to port as well as you can leave your car on the Hotel property for free an they will pick you up from port when you return from cruise..It cost $10 a day to park your car at the port..so this saves you money..
