“Christmas Wonderland!”
The hotel was beautiful and the view was amazing! We had such a wonderful time! I highly reccomend going at Christmas-time because the lobby was a Christmas wonderland! It was gorgeous! The only thing I did not give the hotel 5 stars on is cleanliness of the room because there were a few traces of those in the room before us, but overall the stay was wonderful.
“The best place to stay and have a excellent time.”
It was a great experience, room super clean, comfortable and good atmosphere, the best quaily. Perfect and social waiter and waitress. Great Valet Parking, perfect attention with all the guys. It was outstanding experince.
“Best on the island.”
GGreat views all around. The staff went above and beyond what I expected. If your at the pool ask for Felix... That guy was great to us. Will be back this summer.
“Fabulous Vacation”
Fabulous hotel and staff. Tommy was really helpful and accommodating. We have a wonderful vacation.
“Great Hotel”
Great stay. I hope I come back during the summer if they keep the Expedia rate.
“Beautiful at Christmastime”
This resort was very nice. The lobby was decorated with gorgeous Christmas trees everywhere. The weather was cold and windy, yet the outdoor pool was so warm you could swim very comfortably. I enjoyed going at night with all of the cheery outdoor lights and my sis and I had the pool and jacuzzis to ourselves. I liked slipping behind the waterfall and relaxing in the jacuzzi behind it. We had a nice view of the Gulf which would be stunning with sunshine and sunsets in better weather. The beds were comfortable too. The only complaint is that the shower area has no light so you can't see well when showering and the drain plug wouldn't stay up so I took it out. The ambiance of this resort is so nice and the staff offered to take pictures of us by the Christmas trees. I would rate this hotel high because of the elegance and awesome outdoor pool, jacuzzi, waterfall, and slide. We stayed in a hotel the next day in san antonio for the same price and it felt like a regular, boring hotel. Definitely stay here if you come to Galveston. It was one of my best memories here.
“Lovely Hotel”
One night was not enough to take advantage of what the resort offers. The hotel is comfortable and well appointed. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is right on the beach with key stores near by and easy access to all island sites. Off season rates are very reasonable.
“Best place to stay in Galveston”
We enjoyed out Thanksgiving stay at San Luis Resort, can't wait to go back next year.
“Galveston done Perfectly!”
We planned a Galveston Girls Weekend following Thanksgiving as the guys were all in the woods! The San Luis was simply great! The heated pool with swim up bar was our favorite spot! The hotel and staff are truly top shelf as far as service and courtesy! Location is great and there's a shuttle service to the Strand for wonderful shopping! We are already planning to do this again next year!
“Great Place on the Sea Wall”
If your going to Galveston for the beach and want to stay somewhere nice this IS the place.
