We stayed at the Garden City Hotel this past weekend and what a beautiful facility. The staff was cordial and the room was clean with plenty of room to move around. The bathroom was well appointed and sizable. I would gladly stay again. The staff was accommodating as we arrived early and there were no rooms readily available. They stored our luggage and got us in before 4pm.

Good stay, housekeeping was lacking however. Room was not thoroughly cleaned. Some towels were replaced, while others were left behind. Garbage and used cups were left in room. My room was close to the elevator and for both nights people made the area near the elevator a lounge so it was very noisy. Had to call to complain

Nice but over priced. Lobby area was pretty but outdated. Food was average but way over priced. Bartenders were excellent, especially Kevin C. Wait staff didn't bring things that were ordered more than once in two different restaurants, but were very friendly as well. The desk staff incorrectly charged my card and I'm waiting on a large refund now. But again, they were friendly as well as were the door men. Room was just average with no frills. Private events had loud music thumping through our room until midnight both nights of our stay. Other than the staff, I really don't understand why this is such a destination hotel for weddings, which is why we were there. Sadly, it is a disappointment for the price.

Our stay exceeded my expectations. The staff were amazing and the hotel was within walking distance to shops/food/etc. I will say that for the cost, I was expecting a flawless room. The lamps, chairs and vents could use some TLC. Other than that, it was a good stay.

Everything here was very nice. Definitely had some trouble closing the curtains fully, which was an issue when the light woke me up in the morning. But the room was very spacious and the hotel felt very safe and upscale.

This hotel was both beautiful and so clean. We stayed there for an event and the staff and service were great. The little downtown area was so cute with nice restaurants and coffee shops, and was very walkable from the hotel itself. I highly recommend the Garden City Hotel!

The rooms and decor were beautiful and spotless! However, I was on the 8th floor and it was so noisy! Other guests on the 8th floor were out in the hallways being so loud and running around both during the day and night. For the price of the rooms I guess I was expecting a quiet, more well-mannered clientele. As beautiful as this hotel is, it was very expensive and I’m not sure I’d stay there again due to the behavior that’s allowed there

Clean and quiet hotel in a nice neighborhood I did not like that there was an amenities charge because the room was expensive enough and I didn’t even use the amenities.
