“Very nice”
Chraming, pleasent, very well run
“Very efficient”
Will suit for short business trip. Dining room too formal though and you will probably elect to eat out.
“Good quality hotel in Geneva”
Good location, near to the lake, the old town and the train station. Friendly, helpful staff.
“Fantastic weekend getaway”
We had a wonderful time in Geneva and got so much done in only 3 days! Everything worked out smoothly- from the flight, hotel location and hotel service- all great! This hotel is located in the heart of the city and within walking distance to the major sights... it was also conveniently close to nice restaurants and cafes in the area. Do take advantage of the local sightseeing tours- we booked a dinner boat cruise through our hotel and enjoyed very nice 3 course meal and breathtaking views of the city and the Alps along lake Lamac. Definitely worth it! Traveling Tip: the last week on July-1st week of August the city celebrates "Geneva Fete"- it is a week- long celebration with carnival atmosphere and fireworks on the weekend! August 1st is their national holiday! Lots of fun!
“Recommended but expensive”
Greatly enjoyed stay in the Bristol Hotel. Excellent, spacious room. Extra bed for 14 year old son - but still plenty of space. Quiet but central location. Plenty of good options for eating out nearby. Only negative comment is that it was expensive.
“will certainly go back”
I used this hotel for the first time on a short business visit to Geneva I was happy from the moment I arrived, the staff were quick with the checking in, speedy with my baggage all with a pleasant greeting, The room was very comfortable, clean, with all conveniences, tea and coffee, flat screenTV internet, trouser press.room service restaurant all excellent
“Fantastic hotel”
hi, this hotel was excellent. the staff went out of their way to be helpful and very cheery with a smile on their faces all the time. wouldnt hesitate to go back.
“Great Location for a good hotel”
Hotel Bristol is centrally located within walking distance of the lake, the old town, the train station and plenty of restaurants. The rooms overlooking the square are quieter, except for Saturday revellers but with the windows shut peaceful enough. However the aircon was not working particularly well lacking power which, if the temperature was over 25c could have been a problem. Usual overpriced mini bar. Free wifi but if you want to use the hotels computer 8 eu for 15mins. Breakfast at around 30eu seems well over the top. Would go again, very pleasant helpful staff.
“Just what we were looking for”
The Hotel Bristol was exactly what we were looking for! The hotel is close to the train station and even closer to the bus station (how we arrived). It is a great location - right on Rue Mont Blanc, which becomes the bridge to the old part of town. While in a bustling area, the double windows shut out all street noise making the Bristol a quiet, classy haven. The staff is professional and efficient and the service was excellent. We were only in Geneva for 24 hours, but the Bristol was a standout for us. Absolutely would stay there again - and recommend it to others.
“Great hotel in Geneva”
We stayed here for 5 days during a business trip/vacation to Geneva. The hotel was recommended to us by a co-worker who had stayed there. The location is ideal - right in the city center...steps from the lake and a short walk from the train station. The hotel is very well maintained. The room was extremely quiet, clean, and comfortable. The staff was very helpful even for those of us who can't speak French well. Breakfast in the restaurant was convenient, but quite pricey. The hotel was also somewhat expensive, but that seems to be the norm for Geneva. We would definitely recommend the Hotel Bristol.
