This place is a little gem, perfectly located to explore Northern Spain, with a backdrop of the Picos de Europa and just a few minutes drive from the very nice seaside town of Llanes and its many beautiful beaches. This is a small, family-run hotel and the owners cannot do enough to help with any request or assistance you may require - nothing is too much trouble for them. "Nos dieron una habitacion con mucha humedad, olía mucho a humedad, la solución fue traerlos un aparato q absorvia la humedad, pregunte por cambio de habitación y me comentaron q estaban llenos. Toda la.noche respirando ese olor!!!me traje la ropa con olor a humedad. Las mujeres de la limpieza genial. Fernando muy amable y simpático. "Everything about the Artiem was great, firstly the service was exceptional nothing was too much trouble, the style & ambience is relaxing & very well maintained. The facilities including the gym & spa were of a very high level. Unfortunately it was a little cold to use the outside pool but it looked very tempting. Breakfasts are excellent & other meals are flexible either a sharing plate or an ala carte meal. We liked the Artiem so much we extended our stay & would definitely recommend."

"Great hotel. Lovely room overlooking the mountains with a small balcony. No air conditioning but the ceiling fan above the bed was very good. Reception staff are very friendly as are the bar staff. You can hire electric bikes from the hotel and they are very good quality. Car park is big and everything walking distance. Beach is very nice and old town is lovely. "

"Hard surfaced on-site car park which was ideal for our motorcycles. Modern and clean throughout. Huge, comfortable, bed. Good sized towels. Hairdryer provided. Nice beer in the bar. Good selection of food and drinks for breakfast. Petrol station half a mile away."
