We have accommodated late night, where room is freezing with no heating option to turn on, no hot water as well, no spare towel, which will be nice to have as booked for two. In superior room the queen bed, not much spacious and not either comfortable. Not working lights and damaged bathroom. Anyway, we have a heating back early morning, as well as hot water. A bit basic, but in good location and parking on site.

It is a lovely okd building and the staff are more than helpful, but it needs some paint and carpet, and the room was I stayed in was cold

Last minute booking to visit my son staff were very polite and helpful especially Jamie, room was clean and very comfortable. A little dated in parts and a refresh would be beneficial but overall a great hotel.

Check in was easy and staff all very pleasant, room was clean and comfortable everything i needed for a quick trip to see my son. Special shout out to Jamie who was very nice and spent a few minutes just to chat excellent customer service

The rooms are warm, clean and comfy. There are meals, squash and fitness available. The rooms are a little too warm at night and some boiler/pump noise. Fire regs - not sure whether the use of keys for existing from rooms is now acceptable. Thought all rooms had to be thumb turns.

I stayed for 2 nights and the staff at the hotel were amazing and helpful. Very friendly and enjoyed the hospitality. Room and the bed was big and quiet enough so overall a good choice if you are looking for a room in the area.

The hotel was clean, lovely and comfortable room and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We will certainly book this Hotel again on our next visit. No complaints at all.

Great staff and food.
The food and service were excellent, everyone from check-in to bar staff was friendly and pleased to help or serve whenever asked. The room was a little dated but had all the amenities required for our stay. I would recommend this hotel to any traveller or visitor to the area.

I stayed in the Coach House and nice room with a comfy bed. Only downside was having to walk to the main building to use the gym, as it’s not very well lit down the side to the Coach House. Not very far at all though.

Easy to find, lovely reception staff who were very helpful and friendly. Amazed by the squash courts and pleasantly surprised by the size of the gym. Didn’t use the restaurant or bar but seemed popular. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful service from all the staff, but especially Jamie and the young student on reception on Friday night. They were so friendly and helpful - really went above and beyond. First class breakfast and a nice bar area, with a very good range of drinks. My bed was very comfortable and there was free Wi-Fi. I will definitely return and 100% recommend this hotel.

I stayed 1 night . It was a nice hotel, I did not eat in the hotel as I already had plans. The room was a good size,clean,a little dated though. The bathroom was very good size and more modern than the sleeping area. While there was a window to open(it was a bit fiddly to close) it would have been nice to have air conditioning. Staff were friendly. Overall a nice stay.

Not the best stay
Last time I stayed here it was great. This time I was put in an outside building at the back of the hotel (not great as a lone female traveller) The room was very dated with lots of small issues (blind wouldn't close/ shower wouldn't work properly/ light bulb needed changing etc. Lots of passage due to the location of the room (car lights and noise) Bed wasn't made properly and linen not brilliant I did advise the hotel and was advised this would all be passed on?

We have stayed at the Millfields several times before. This was the first time in a few years, maybe just over 3. I have never had a problem and it is usually for a family party in the area as to our stay. This stay did not disappoint. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff welcoming and helpful. The evening meals are excellent and as a party of 7 adults we all had different and thoroughly enjoyed them. The one thing I have is the breakfast. At £15 extra, for us was not worth it money. The continental was limited. There was a good choice of hot breakfast, full English, eggs Benedict and veggie option. I had egg Benedict, they were nice but nothing to rave about. The men in our party had full English and were very so so about it. However this has not put us off of booking the Millfields again, we would just no have breakfast.

Close to the town centre, 10 minutes on foot. Millfields is a lovely old building. Great bar area. Warm welcome. Our family room was spacious and clean. No food on a Sunday but we were going to a party so this want a problem for us. Staff were lovely and plenty of free parking all at a great price. Highly recommended
