Five-story hotel offers western-style and Korean ondol rooms. We booked the family suite and were upgraded to the executive suite, which contained a double bed and two twin beds, perfect for our family of four. The mattresses were very firm, but we've found this to be the norm rather than the exception in Asia. The shower was separate from the main bathroom, which contained a soaking tub. Towels and linens were plentiful and clean. Room was incredibly clean and spacious. Amenities included air conditioning, hot water kettle, blow dryer, mini-fridge with bottled water, and good Wifi.
Hotel is aged, but well maintained. The staff spoke enough English for us to communicate. We didn't try the hotel restaurant, but noticed many eating breakfast there. It's a short drive to main historic sights of Gyeongju. The outdoor pool is small, but it was drained by our visit in early September--quite a disappointment to the kids after a hot day of sightseeing. Overall, a reasonably-priced, family-friendly hotel that I would recommend to others.
