Quite run down and dirty hotel. The room to my astonishment wasn’t as dirty as the hallways, floors, carpets, elevator so I suppose that makes it passable for a 1 night stay.

This hotel is located in an area that have many shops, cafes, convenient store, and small restaurants. The lobby of the hotel looks nice but the interior of the room looks like a 2Star hotel. It's a nice hotel to stay for 1 or 2 nights.

Pro: Location is ok, have cafe nearby. Con: Needs better maintenance. They took two days to fix a leaky shower. There is a electric kettle but no supply of instance coffee/tea

Hotel is located in the Old Quarter, but it is 1km to walk to all the shops and restaurants. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay!

Kicked us out TWICE
First time: One customer lengthened their stay --> no room for us. Moved us to a smelly hotel and we didn't feel safe there. Second time(just after 3 days since we had to go to another district): Even after telling them after the first time to not let the same thing happen. They failed us. Their excuse was that they were renovating (despite the fact that 5 pairs came out of the elevator: the obviously had rooms). Wasted 3 hours of our time to find a hotel that we could accept. Even more disappointing since we booked and PAID then 2 months ahead. Ruined the whole holiday in Hanoi.

Old quarter hotel
The hotel is situated right by old quarter. It is in decent shape. Superior rooms are tight quarters with no windows. Needs slightly hard. Breakfast included and free WiFi. Hotel staff were friendly, the map given out was a great help. They have a spa. Offer taxi service to and from airport. Food and beverages in room for additional charges. Room service available at additional charge as well.

Great place to stay
My stay with the dragon Pearl Hotel was great. There were some issues but the good things out weigh the bad. First the bad, to get on the internet I needed to stand by the door of the room. The housekeepers were loud when cleaning room next to ours at 8am. There were four of them in the room talking and we could hear everything like they were standing in our room. The good, the staff at the foot desk and resturant were great. They bent over backwards to help us enjoy our trip to Hanoi. If we asked where a good resturant was they would give us directions or have a taxi waiting for us. The free breakfast in the morning was a good mix of local and western food so that you could have your comfort food and also try the local cuisine. The hotel has tours that you can book through them if you want to. The hotel is located on the edge of the old quarter so it was easy to get Hanoi Opera House, Ngoc Son Temple and other exciting locations to see. You can either walk or take a taxi for $2-3. I highly recommend this hotel and I would definitely stay there again if I get back to Hanoi.

Hanoi with Dragon Pearl Hotel.
You made my memorable! A Hanoi in hotel. About friendly staffs, good service , crazy but nice tiny room with modern style decorations. And should mention to Rubi, a lovely management of front office with knowledge about Hanoi Old Quarter , and map. And please send my big hug and thank you to ladies at receptionist. We'll definite come back in near future. I love Hanoi and Dragon Pearl Hotel.

Simple hotel, simple breakfast, good for a base or stop over. Breakfast very standard. Not terribly clean, found a cockroach and fowl smell in bathroom, then got moved to a different room with no hot water.

Clean and value-for-money
Our room had no hot water and they couldn't change our room due to full occupancy that night, so we had to head to the public restroom on the ground floor to shower instead, which was quite inconvenient. Nevertheless, they fixed it the next day and it was back to normal from then on. Good service overall, friendly and helpful receptionists and service staff. Location was good, on the outskirts of the Old Quarter and walking distance to food places. Definitely value-for-money.

Reasonable hotel got everything right
The Deluxe Rooms (City View) at Dragon Pearl Hotel were large, clean and well maintained. Be aware that "Superior Rooms" and potentially "Deluxe Rooms" lack windows of any sort, as described in other reviews and as I saw on-site. The hotel is reasonably close to the Hoan Kiem district- not quite walking distance but a short taxi ride away.

Booked a superior room but was upgraded on arrival without asking. New room was huge, elegant and had best bed ever. Great bathroom. Crispy linen.

Good location to get to most of the things one might want to see. Staff was very helpful. Just be patient as sometimes things are misunderstood in translation. The hotel was not new so was not perfect, so did not give a 5 across the board. It was a very good stay and would stay there again.

Nice little hotel with very good service.
The room was very modern and exceptionaly clean and the breakfast was good. The only criticism we would make is the lack of a window can make one feel a little "boxed in". Nevertheless the service and the nearby restaurants are very good.

A joyful stay in a nice hotel with friendly staff
I was arriving a little bit late at the hotel that day due to my flight delay and unpunctual airport bus ride. It was almost 2am and the main door was closed. But the duty receptionist promptly opened for me with a few knocks. The check-in was really hassle free (I mean super fast) and I had a very good sleep for that night. The room are well decorated with all essential amenities. The hotel also has a cozy and nice restaurant on the top of the building. It serves traditional Vietnamese & Asian as well as other Western style food. All staff are very friendly and that's what matters in today's service industry. The hotel is also strategically located. Most of the major attractions are within walkable distance. By the way, the hotel also offers free maps which was really helpful during my trip to Hanoi. I will not say everything is all perfect but it's definitely value for money, and many have exceeded your expectation. I'm willing to recommend this hotel to my friends and I will personally stay there if I visit Hanoi again.

Decent Hotel
Great staff, friendly and helpful. Room is small and cramped. Bathroom door is a sliding door with frosted windows. Great for couples, but if you're sharing with friends, you might end up seeing more than you ask for. There is a nasty sewage odor that comes from the drains in the bathroom. It seems to exist in all rooms as we stayed in two different rooms while we were there. If you are looking for a late activities, this hotel isn't for you. Everything around here closes early except for a few cafes. Most restaurants seem to close after 8 or 9pm.

Great value for the money
What a gem in the middle of the city! For what we paid for, this hotel far exceeded our expectation. Hotel staff were very friendly. There was a problem with our check-in; somehow they did not receive the reservation from hotels.com (so make sure you call to confirm prior to arrival) but they quickly accomdate us. The room is a bit small but very well decorated and comfy. The bathroom is spacious and clean. Our only complaint is the toilet smells a little, and we think they may have put up the glass bathroom wall inside out because it's definitely see-through from the bed.

The room had no window. Pas de fenêtre dans notre chambre. The beds had no space in between. Very tight to the door of the washroom. Breakfast was nice. Simple but nice for Vietnam. Service was exceptional. Loved the staff! 15 minute walk to the lake.

우선 직원들이 매우 친절합니다. 조식도 가격대비 훌륭하고 맛있었습니다. 다만 화장실에 코너마다 곰팡이가 많이 보였습니다. 그런 것에 민감하다면 추천하지 않는 호텔입니다. 더 비싼 호텔에 가세요~ 그리고 수페이어룸에 3명까지 가능하다고 표시되어있는데 2명만 가능합니다. 추가베드 신청도 못하고 방도 굉장히 작습니다. 저는 그 표시 보고 3명이 잘 수 있을 줄 알고 가서 추가베드 신청했는데 안된다고 하더군요... 참고하세요
