This hotel is in the heart of Old Town, near all the dining and shopping spots. The room was spacious and clean and contained all the amenities. Hotel staff treated us like VIPs. Will plan to stay here again next time we visit!

Perfect location for Hoan Kiem lake, just a few minutes walk away. The hotel staff were excellent. Reception team were always available to help guide and make arrangements for our time in Hanoi. Restaurant team were always friendly and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed for breakfast and lunch (especially Patrick and Julie). Housekeeping team were exceptional in ensuring we had everything we needed in our room. We previously stayed at the Hanoi Pearl in 2019 and were glad to find that our return visit in February 2024 was just as good as 5 years ago. We will definitely stay again the next time we visit Hanoi.

Yes, I grade 5* on everything . Only a bit hassle if you arrive or leaving during the weekend due to “walking Street” event that limited the traffic. Anyway. Can’t blame on the hotel. it’s beyond their control. Will book this hotel again if I have another chance.

The Hanoi Pearl hotel is in the most central spot of all the sight seeing and amazing street food. Everything is well within walking distance, the hotel has an amazing happy hour deal (buy 2 get 1 free cocktails), the hotel staff is super friendly and helpful. We’d definitely recommend this hotel as the place to stay if you’re visiting Hanoi’s Old Quarter.

Stayed 2 nights did not make a difference. Room bit tough not enough room for 2 suitcase and 2 carry on. Breakfast average. Has many restaurants around close to lake and market. Be careful when walking in the lane guys with bike can circle you not very safe. Safe in my room would not open with the right code it took an engineer and staff 3 cans of keys and over an hour to open I was sweating my passport was in it and taxi pick up was at 9am. Fortunately guy was able to open tipped him for his efforts. I thought I will miss my flight.

It's one of my usual hotels when going to Hanoi. Even if I only stayed one night this time I noticed they did some renovation: new mattress, new bathtub, new toilet and new paint in the bedroom. I'm glad they are maintaining the property so my stays are always good.

An ideal place to stay, located in Old Quarter just walking distance from the lake that is buzzing with activity, and all food and shopping options available as you step out of the hotel. Rooms are decent, clean, and staff are very friendly. Highly recommended.

This hotel is located right in the center of Hanoi Old Town, just a few minutes walk to Ho Guom Lake, walking distance to many good restaurants as well as street food stalls. Staff is very well trained, friendly, and helpful. Will stay again when we return to Hanoi.

Good hotel for exploring Hanoi as it’s right by the old quarter. Lots of places are walkable from the hotel. Staff were friendly and the room was spacious and clean. My only “room for improvement” point is the breakfast offering.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hanoi Pearl Hotel. The hotel was clean, comfortable and in a brilliant location. The breakfast was lovely. The staff were extremely helpful in organising transportation to the airport; helping us with our onward travel and answering any questions we had. We hadn’t realised on booking that the room did not have a window however, this did not impact our stay. Would stay again!

Overall, the Hanoi Pearl is a hotel in a great location and it gets the job done, but there were some aspects of our stay that made it less than satisfactory. One of the rooms we booked, the bathtub didn’t drain well and bathroom smelled like urine. It seems like higher floors have issues with sewage and draining. Additionally, another room we booked, they charged us for opening and eating their chips, which we didn’t but they insisted we did and charged us. The hotel only provides 1 room key card, which is used to turn on the electricity in the room, which can be inconvenient. I would suggest requesting a second key card upon checkin, but for disclaimer, if you lose any card, you will be charged. The location was central to a lot of restaurants and shops, which made up for the less than stellar stay.

This is the third occasion we have stayed at the Hanoi Pearl Hotel. Why do we keep returning? It’s simple. Everything about the hotel is first class. The staff are wonderful; courteous, happy and, always ready to please. The breakfast buffet caters for all tastes; and if you can’t see why you want on display you just need to ask. The hotel is situated in the heart of the Old Quarter and is ideally situated for exploring those tantalising streets. The hotel has a gymnasium and spa so you can get your exercise and relaxation in the one place. We have always had a great experience and excellent service when we have stayed. I can thoroughly recommend the Hanoi Pearl Hotel.

Great stay!
The hotel is in a great location in Old Quarter and I loved that it was on a walking-only street during the weekend. It's very close to one of the lakes in the city and easy access to much of the touristic sites. The hotel itself was clean and nice in appearance. The breakfast was generally good, though the restaurant is extremely small and the furniture bulky (one thing I would change). I really liked the rooftop bar and they had a nice happy hour deal. My room was on the top floor so just steps away from the entrance stairway to the bar which was convenient. The room was mostly quiet, had smart TV for things like Netflix and room service was prompt. I found it helpful that they offered currency exchange and arranged reasonable airport transfer services. Staff were very accommodating.

We loved our stay at Pearl. We used it as our base as we traveled throughout the north and always felt welcomed and comfortable coming back. Staff are smiley and helpful and rooms are spacious and clean. Couldn’t ask for more value for our budget! Breakfast very extensive and good food. TV in room had Netflix, YouTube, and Apple TV. Gym had 2x treadmills, 2x bikes, a bench, and 2x 5/7/10 kg dumbbells

We only stayed one night but it was perfect. The staff were very nice and helpful. The location is perfect, right by the lake. We had an early morning flight and the hotel arranged transportation for us and a breakfast to go. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay in Hanoi! I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels, but I’d say that Hanoi Pearl Hotel has some of the kindest and most accommodating staff I’ve ever interacted with. The location is conveniently located in Old Quarter. It’s tucked away in a little street away from the Main Streets, which made it more quiet and pleasant, but still easy to get to places. I chose a windowless room, and honestly I didn’t mind it since the air quality outside was smoggy and congested — I wouldn’t open the windows even if I had them anyways. I’ll definitely choose Hanoi Pearl Hotel again when I visit the city in the future!

By Hanoi standards was on a quiet street but in good location. Easy walking to many attractions. I didn’t mind my light well window. At least could tell when the sun was up. The room was ver spacious and clean. Breakfast had good variety and an espresso coffee machine ! The staff are super helpful. Would highly recommend

We only stayed one night, but we found the hotel well located in the Old Quarter, a.tourist area and the hotel, staff and facilities were all quite good. Our room was one with windows, but no outside view. That was not a problem for one night, and the room was very quiet on the figth floor.
