Good place
Nice place with very clean and comfortable rooms! Friendly and helpful staff. Weren't particular fans of Hanoi in general so wouldn't return, but good place to stay if you're there!

Great hotel at very good price
An all-around excellent hotel, with great manager and wonderful service. I stayed here for 2 night, plus a 2D1N trip to Halong bay at very good price (with the help of Ms Jennie via email), and everything was fantastic: The room was so cozy with a comfortable king-size bed, and from the bellboy to the receptionist - everyone was friendly and professional. I'd really recommend Hanoi Royal Palace hotel if you'd like to visit Hanoi on a budget!

Very good place to stay
Value for money, excellent service from staff, Good location, very near to places of attraction. 5 to 10 minutes walk to Hoa Lo prison, Next to it is the Hanoi Towers where there is a supermarket there.

we stayed a night in HN. Hotel saild that their Wifi had problem and they transffed us to other hotel near it. the room was good, but water was weak and stuck. Room Cleaner enter room without checking customer. big minus for that thing.

Nice Room & Nice Staffs
The hotel driver picked us up at the airport as organised. We were given a cold drink and towel on arrival. The staff were very friendly and affected us loads of advice on what we could do in Hanoi. Comfortable beds, nice bathroom and a clean room. A great nights sleep. Breakfast was nice. A great place to stay, super friendly. I would definitely stay here again

My girlfriend and I enjoyed the three nights at Hanoi Royal Palace Hotel. Staff was very kind, attentive and enthusiastic. The complimentary breakfast was sufficient and a great way to start the day. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The location is perfect for walking nearly everything in the old quarter. The price was very reasonable for the service and amenities provided.

i am very happy to stay this hotel,first it is very best price (included breaskfast) and staffs are all nice and helpful The location is very good,it is near lake but not too noisy I can walk to attractive places from hotel

Great staff & service
Great experience here. They organized transportation to and from the airport, as well as to and from Ha Long Bay. Very kind, attentive staff, complimentary breakfast, comfortable rooms, great location. Would recommend.

What u see on the net is not what u will get
Not happy when located room that requested and paid for a higher room with city view,but just a small room with four wall and dirty bathroom with no hot water,wouldn't change until the next morning when the duty manager come to work,change to a bigger room without city view,because of rushing to joint the city day tour,and there was no clean room to change to put our luggage in,the manager told us to leave our baggage to him,when came back in the evening after our tour,found that our luggages was in a new room but been go through our things and money was stolen,reported right away but with no respond as every things had to wait for the duty manager,next morning reported to the duty manager again,nothing was respond,very disappointed

Seeing is believing
We went with two other couples and from the time we arrived, the hotel was overbooked with one of the rooms. All bathrooms in the rooms we stayed in flooded and in particular the room I stayed in the hot water pipe over the toilet was leaking, when it was fixed the following day we returned to no hot water at all. We were moved to another room but the same problem with the hot water pipe leaking which resulted in very little hot water until it was fixed. Other than that the staff were friendly and helpful. There was no restaurant and bar in the hotel as listed on website. Breakfast was served in the main foyer. The hotel needs an upgrade and the website needs updating so that other travellers get the correct information about the hotel. Otherwise, hotel in good location.

Royal Palace hotel gave to me excellent services. The room was so clean. The staffs here just like my best friend. Especially Jenny (Phuong) she took care me a lot with the great service. I highly recommend everyone should stay at RP hotel.

Great hotel close to town
We stayed at the Royal Hanoi Palace hotel for 4 nights whilst exploring the city. The hotel staff were very welcoming on arrival and helpful throughout the stay. We also used the hotel to book a trip to Halong Bay which was ok value for money. We could have got it cheaper but went for peace of mind of booking it through the hotel. The room was perfect for a short city break. The bed was comfortable after long days exploring. In general the room was very clean. We would definitely recommend this hotel to other travellers.

The hotel was great with excellent service, the staff were fantastic, were extremely helpful and gave great recommendations about where to go in Ha Noi. The breakfast was good, tasty. The hotel was in a fantastic location, walking distance to what we needed.

What a lovely little place. It's not 5 star luxury but it is very clean, big rooms and helpful friendly staff. It is hard to find fault with the hotel, would stay again.

Fantastic hotel, quiet central location
I booked this hotel because it was highly recommended by a good friend who had stayed here on her trip to Vietnam back in 2012. And I must say, I am so glad I listened to her. From the get go, Ms Jennie and the rest of the Royal Palace crew were excellent in making sure that we had a great time in Hanoi. From organising our airport transfers, upgrading us to a bigger room, to taking care of our laundries, recommending good restaurants and food to try, even helping us book our Halong Bay trip, nothing was a problem for the team. They went above and beyond customer service and it definitely contributed to the great time my friend and I spent in Vietnam. It wasn't 5 star facility, but the service we received made it pretty high in my rating for Royal Palace hotel.

Tony at the front desk was everything i expected after seeing trip advisor. Very helpful as well as his colleagues. Close to the Catholic Church and the Lake. Rooms were very nice as well as the breakfast. I would recommend this property. I will stay here again when i come back to Hanoi.

The hotel was located perfectly in a quiet part of the old town. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and very service minded, they helped us with everything we needed and more. The room was clean and met our needs perfectly.

We stayed here four nights in total. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. They helped us book a tour to ha long bay and flight back to Hue. Would defenitly recommend staying here. The rooms are very clean and well decorated. It's just a nice place to be.

I arrived at 7am with a warm welcome from Mr Huy & Ms Phuong. Welcomed to check in early and enjoy breakfast. The staffs at Royal Palace hotel are brilliant and work tirelessly to make sure you are happy and comfortable. I had loads of help booking our ha long bay tour and didn't have to worry about a thing. Rooms are lovely and a beautiful breakfast included. The hotel is in a very nice location just a short walk to the lake.

The nicest hotel I have found in Hanoi - from the moment we walked in the door the staff were extremly helpful and friendly. The room was beautifully decorated and offered every amenity you could need. Great information and maps of the city offered in the lobby too. For the price that we paid we couldnt have asked for anything more!

Royal Palace Hotel is located very near from Hoan Kiem lake and is very convenience for shopping of souvenirs such as small traditional things and cloths of Vietnam. There are many restaurants and coffee shops around this hotel. We were greeted by smiling staff who took us to our executive room to check in. The room was decorated with balloons and chocolates for our anniversary. Room size is great, an extremely comfortable bed, writing desk space and an alcove with seating and table which was turned into a bed for our daughter. Bathroom had a fantastic rain shower....

We only stayed here for 1 night, after doing a 2 day Halong Bay tour, and thought it was a beautiful hotel. The rooms are not very large, but very tastefully designed. Also they noticed that it was my wife's birthday, and sent us a lovely cake free of charge! How about that for great service!
