High expectations, low results
Very very very friendly and enjoyable staff that goes over and above to help with any request. The property was very comfortable. My ac broke, but was repaired the next day. The wifi signal to our room was very low and I could not use my laptop or phone wifi. It was fixed by the time we left. The bathroom was too small for one person, let alone two. I had to sit on the toilet sideway because there wasnt much room. The backsplash behind the sink, and the shower were dirty. The walls had chips out of the paint next to the bed that needed to be painted. And lastly, the room and bathroom lighting was placed in the wrong places and not bright enough to see you face in the mirrors.

MUST STAY IN HANOI!!!!!
I am absolutely obsessed with this place!!!!! We searched for a while for a hotel and Hanoi and then finally came across this one and I’m so happy we did. This is by far our best stay in Vietnam. This is a new hotel so it felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. It’s extremely clean and quiet. I had the best shower of my life and we slept for literally 13 hours because the bed was so comfortable. I can’t begin to explain how perfect the staff was. Trang was there for our entire stay and she is the absolute sweetest person. She helped us so much with recommendations and made sure we were comfortable. I’m so sad our stay here ended. The only thing we can do now is tell everyone you MUST stay here. Without a question, this is your Hanoi hotel!!

Great stay: comfortable beds, clean rooms and nice breakfast buffett. Excellent customer service at the front desk. We enjoyed our stay in La Sinfonia Citadel while in Hanoi and we'll gladly be back here again.

We had a very pleasant stay in La Sinfonia Citadel. The breakfast buffet is delicious, as we stayed for three nights, we didn’t expect they would change the food options each day. The staff are welcoming and the service was superb! And when we left they even have a small souvenir for us. The location would not be the most convenient, however you can get to the attractions easily. The area is relatively quiet comparing to the main spots which is a bonus for us, as we don’t really enjoy the crowds of the old quarters when you can get traffic jam easily.

Would I stay again? No
I don’t know what to feel about this hotel for the following the reasons: 1. Room was clean, bed comfy but the bathroom was really small 2. The hotel had a funky smell in the hallways and the reception had a pungent cigarette smell because there is always a smoker in front of the lobby doors 3. The breakfast was pretty good 4. The receptionists were quite pushy. We had no intentions on using the spa or the rooftop bar (because the prices were outrageous) but they kept on convincing us to try out the services. 5. One of the “managers” approached us while we were eating breakfast asking us how was our stay but his demeanor (he had both of his hands on his pocket) seemed a bit rude 6. The most ridiculous part was that we were charged for the two coffee capsules. Usually when you have a coffee machine and coffee capsules placed next to it you will assume that these are complimentary but it wasn’t. It was confusing because it was right next to the complimentary tea bags… 7. Location is not the best because you need to cross multiple streets to get to the bustling french quartier zone

At that time, our hotel has just reopened three months after Covid-19, but we still effort to bring you the best experience of cleanness and breakfast to our guests. But sadly we failed in other aspects. It is really hard to avoid the cigarette smell at the lobby door although all the guests are required to smoke outside the campus. We also apologize for the improper behaviors of our staff. They had shown their care about you but in inelegant ways. We will seriously fix this issue so that the next customers will not feel uncomfortable about it anymore. For the two coffee capsules, it is our fault again that we did not explain to you the fee when you checked in. We have listened to the customers and decided that they will be free of charge from now on. Again, thank you very much for your precious feedback. Hopefully, we can have a chance to be your service again in the future.

It was a very special stay. As it is a small charming boutique hotel, you feel very well taken care of. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Overall a great experience. I ate in the restaurant and received stellar service from Haivu, who went above and beyond the regular service to make sure that I was satisfied with the experience.

highly recommend
It is a very nice stay at this property. A good location as it is accessible to all your needs. The room has a nice setup and amenities are as expected for a 5 star property. Services are all superb with very attentive and warm service from all. Three months in Asia and I can say that this hotel has the best quality for such a minimal cost that I have come across. A wonderful experience indeed and I highly recommend friends to come.

The hotel staff make you feel like a movie star
This service at this hotel is EXCEPTIONAL! From the snack when you arrive, to walking with us to the pharmacy and helping us find medicine, to remembering our names, to providing recommendations, to packing us a breakfast since we left earlier than their breakfast started, the staff here made you feel like royalty. The hotel is beautiful too. The room is well outfitted and the rooftop bar was a fun spot for drinks. We enjoyed the happy hour. The location is great too. This is the only place we will stay in Hanoi in the future, and I will recommend this hotel to all of our friends.

Hotel is well located and a short walk to the Old Quaters shops and restaurants. The rooms are clean and nicely styled although the walls are a little thin. A beautiful boutique hotel with wonderful staff who go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The turn down service was great as well as the rooftop bar which does 2 for 1 drinks from 4-7pm. The breakfast is fantastic with everything and anything available. They organized a taxi to the airport for 350k which was nice. The hotel is located just outside the old town which means it is a little quieter. An easy 5-10 minute walk to the center. My only concern would be the cheaper room doesn’t have a lot of natural light however that makes for an easy sleep in. Would highly recommend this hotel!

The staff was exceedingly helpful with Both recommendations and transportation. I needed to go to a pharmacy after dark and the bell boy walked me both ways. The management was excellent-professional and accomodating. Breakfast was delicious. Large variety of food. The room was comfortable and clean. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I loved my stay here. I'm not sure why Google reports this as a 3 star hotel, it is definitely 4 star if not 4.5 stars. One of my favorite hotels during my trip in SE Asia. The staff is so kind and helpful. Clean, spacious rooms and centrally located. Anna was the star of the show. I really enjoyed talking to her and she helped me navigate the city. The staff can give you a ride on a motorbike if you need to run an errand. They even mailed my postcards back to United States! The restaurant is also one of the best in the city. Stunning views. Highly recommended.

The service here was absolutely incredible! The staff truly went above and beyond with great local recommendations for food, incredible customer service, and the highest possible professionalism. This was one of the nicest hotels we stayed at in Vietnam — incredible value for the price.

We liked the location and the friendliness of the staff. But when we went to have breakfast in the hotel, there was a cockroach sitting on the salad tray, alive.
