This is not a property for a romantic weekend or your Instagram feed. It IS the perfect off highway location to sleep and have a perfectly ok breakfast and they allow dogs. The rooms are VERY quiet and the beds are comfortable. Carpets and finishes are worn but it always seems clean.

I loved the outdoor pool option, when we stayed there the weather wasn't ideal to use it unfortunately. Place is a good affordable option if you just need to have a place to sleep, rooms were clean, A/C worked, lots of towels. The only thing is that none of our rooms the fans didn't work in the bathrooms so it made the rooms humid after showers

Love this place! We stay twice a year! The other guests this time were somewhat obnoxious, loud, and messy leaving the breakfast area a mess, but that’s not the staff’s fault by any means

For the value price this was an excellent stay! Of course the rug and paint colors was a bit dated, but clean large rooms, comfortable bed, everything we needed! Secure entry and it felt safe! Pet friendly but no animal smells! I highly recommend it if you are looking for an inexpensive stay with a more expensive feel!

The staff are very friendly and the hotel seems well managed and well maintained. The only negative is that the exterior is a bit worn, but I would recommend the property.

Check in went smoothly and the lady was nice. Everything seemed clean and it was a quiet nights stay. We didn't check out at the desk since we left early and was told to just leave the keys in the room. The outside of the hotel looks like it needs to be freshened up.

Property is outdated. Located on a street that is one way so you have to go down and do a uturn or take a few side streets to go in the opposite direct. Ice machine had dirt or something in it. The cleaning staff did a great job and it was always clean.

"I had a regrettable experience during my recent stay at Baymont by whyndham in Harrisburg. Due to a booking mistake, we unintentionally reserved a regular room instead of an accessible one. However, upon realizing this error during check-in, we requested to switch to an accessible room to accommodate my handicapped husband's needs. Shockingly, the hotel staff flatly refused to make any accommodations or adjustments. Despite our genuine mistake and the urgency of the situation, the hotel displayed a disappointing lack of empathy and flexibility. My husband struggled throughout our stay due to the inaccessible room, and the staff's refusal to assist us only exacerbated the situation. I strongly caution against staying at Baymont by whyndham if you require any level of flexibility or understanding from the staff regarding accommodation changes. Their unwillingness to assist guests, even in the face of genuine mistakes, is deeply concerning and reflects poorly on their commitment to customer service."

If I have to critique...The room was clean. The furniture and fixtures (except for beds) appear to be made for children. I never knew the made a toilet that sat so low to the floor, Really. Water pressure was adequate to shower but don't expect that massage showerhead to do any good. The carpets in the halls is lumpy all over so be careful walking about. Vending machines only took cash, no card readers. The free breakfast included your standard breads, bananas and oranges, some cereal, coffee and juice. Hot food was limited to scrambled eggs and sausages. It was the only place I've stayed that didn't have a waffle machine. I guess for the price point of $76, you shouldn't really complain.
